Obama's a hard-corps pro-confiscation anti-gunner. 'Nuff said.
However, the democrats always misunderestimate the "Christian vote". They falsely believe that because we didn't vote in this election .. that we somehow have changed our mind about what we believe and will now succumb to the liberal message.
This tells me that they didn't understand what happened in the election - we got rid of the whiners and appeasers in our own party. Unfortunately we are now stuck with the whiners and appearsers from the democrat side - but that's the breaks. Republicans lost the election - but most conservatives did not.
I know what I believe - and no democrat is going to sway me in the other direction - regardless of his words or his color.
If it were not for that act of violence against the little boy, Al Gore would have been president. Military votes notwithstanding.
Pathetic, yes?
I agree there are no facts to back up the evil claim It is just a feeling but a very strong feeling.
I disagree in part.
While it is true that Obama didn't chose his middle name, it is evidence of the cultural environment in which he was named and raised. As a young child he was taken to Jakarta, Indonesia where at least for a time, he was educated in Islamic schools. What was his religion then? Did he participate in any acts of affirmation of Islam, such as recitations of Islamic prayers?
Islam is not a religion one that is left easily. It forbids apostacy on pain of death. The question is raised, is Obama a lifelong non-Muslim, an apostate Muslim, or a still secret Muslim? If he is an apostate Muslim (by THEIR calculus, not mine) he would be an irresistable target for Islamic justice. Protecting such a man as President woulld be extraordinarily taxing. It might be like trying to protect Salman Rushdie.
Or, perhaps he has not left Islam at all. Personally, I'd like to hear a public, specific, and personal renunciation of Islam that makes clear the extent of his past involvement with the religion. Is that too much to ask?
Of course, the other points you make, i.e. "phony", "empty suit", "liberal" are all very true and I take no issue with you whatsoever.
I wish that were true. At my megachurch (more than 5,000 attend on Sunday), the Senior Executive Pastor and several of the Elders are Dems. It drives me nuts. Sadly, there are several ladies in the large Sunday School class that I attend who are also Dems. It makes no sense to me, but they are convinced that they are right.
I was speaking in generalities. I simply cannot understand, like you, how any informed person, Christian or otherwise, could vote for a Democrat in this day and age. I still maintain that if a voter researchers the facts, that voter must vote for a conservative. I think that many voters just vote for whomever they are convinced to vote for by someone else. People need to learn to think for themselves.
What would you guess as to the percentages of voters from your church who vote Democrat as opposed to those who vote Republican?
Nancee
You both have a feeling Obama is evil but don't know why? Here's why:
He supports partial birth abortion, right up until the CHILD IS BORN.
Supports Roe-v-Wade.
Supports embryonic stem-cell research.
Does not support parental notification for abortion
'Nuff said. The guy is EVIL and your gut feeling is right.
Ouch. That'll leave a mark.
You have mail, sir!
Thanks, for the clarification. Your explanation of those other facts makes more sense. We should press him on those points, but to make a soundbite of criticizing the name Hussein, without the other facts you mention, makes us sound petty. And you know which part of the soundbite the MSM will play. Yes, America deserves an explanation of his true faith, which affects our National security and it is not an invasion of privacy.
I agree with everything you said but calling someone evil is not a word I discribe many people....
There is something about Obama that runs deeper and maybe it runs into his soul...it gives me chills just writing about it.
Monday bump...
9. He advocates continued funding for Planned Parenthood clinics in our nation's inner cities, which are performing genocide against the populations of African Americans living there.
10. And most damnable of all, when a brave nurse named Jill Stanek brought about national awareness to a practice at a local hospital in suburban Chicago that allowed the starvation and neglect of newly born children who had survived abortion procedures, Obama-"the Christian"-opposed her. He opposed the rights of those children to be given the chance to live, and he advocated against a ban on such procedures-then known as "born alive abortions."
