Tix are difficult to get. Even if you order as soon as they are available.

Thanks... that's what I thought. Sounds like trying to get Red Sox tickets at Fenway!

I guess we'll stick with games at West Point, and hope to make the next Air Force vs Army game...

While starting the attack, Bush's aircraft was hit and his engine caught on fire. He completed his attack and released the bombs over his target scoring several damaging hits.

Sorry, meant to say he blew stuff up.....

Nice post Doc. Considering all the bad news posts we are getting it is refreshing to see something good for a change.

Nutmeg - Every time Army plays Air Force at home you should go to the campus the Friday before.

Here's how it goes from my experience. I was working in the main building. I was told to get to the roof immediately. From there we could see the Cadets going to their tables for lunch at exactly noon. At exactly 5 minutes after noon they are allowed to sit. And then an event I have never seen before.

One of the largest planes in the world is hovering over head. As it just passed us it put on the afterburners for what seemed like a sonic boom. After that 3 fighter planes did the same thing. The noise broke several windows. They said it is a tradition.

Bill Whittle had a very good article on GWB's military experience. Might I suggest--
http://www.ejectejecteject.com/

excerpt-
(see picture)
This is a Convair F-102 Delta Dagger. It is a second-generation, supersonic fighter-interceptor. It cruises at 845 mph.

There were some minor aerodynamic problems with the F-102. For example, at certain power settings and angles of attack – like, say, take-off -- the jet compressor would stall and the aircraft would roll inverted. It is no picnic, skill-wise, to fly a modern F-16 with advanced avionics and fly-by-wire flight control systems. The workload on the F-102 was far higher. The F-16 has an accident rate of 4.14 occurrences per 100,000 flight hours. The F-102’s accident rate was more than three times that: 13.69 per 100,000 hours. 875 F-102A interceptors were built; 259 – almost 30% - were lost to accidents or enemy action while serving in Vietnam.

George W. Bush flew hundreds of hours in the F-102.

On the picture (fruit cake) of John F'n Kerry, who in their right mind wears dress slacks with a pinstripe dress shirt while fake playing a game of "pick up football" ?

And lest we forget these other great moments of manliness in Kerry's history:

"After a rough and tumble game of football, I just love me a good brewsky. Hey, buddy, you come here often?"
