Good news about Bob Schindler. May he return to full health on the prayers and good wishes of his friends and admirers.

I always get a kick out of Carrie K. Hutchen's comments. Here are some more.

..........................

I'm also still waiting to read about, "Also, maybe tomorrow I'll post about my election-eve rally with Bill Clinton in Florida." (A real election impact by Michael Schiavo, Thu Nov 09, 2006 at 10:40:34 AM PST).  Indeed, I would love to read that story by Michael, since I read it was not possible. Not if he was implying it was the Bill Clinton that is the former President of the United States. Will be interesting to see what he says about that if he ever does.

If Michael couldn't get it straight what happened at the Musgrave debate or even if he spent election-eve with former President Bill Clinton -- do you suppose he might have gotten Terri Schiavo's wishes mixed-up as well? (He does claim to have a bad memory from what I read.) Makes one wonder. At least makes me wonder. Whatever...

I'm still waiting for the corrections if not the explanations!

Carrie Hutchens is a former law enforcement officer and a freelance writer who is active in fighting against the death culture movement and the injustices within the judicial and law enforcement systems.

Still Waiting

Mikey didn't get Terri's wishes mixed up. He knew exactly what they were, he just chose to lie about them because of his fears about what could happen if she recovered.

If there are any Republican members of Congress tuned in, please introduce a capital punishment bill that replaces lethal injection with dehydration/starvation. Liberals say that lethal injection is "cruel and unusual," but one and all, they agree fervently that death by dehydration/starvation is a sweet, blissful, euphoric way to die. If we dehydrate-starve convicted criminals, there can be no further objection to capital punishment. Such a death is highly desirable. It is, indeed, the way preferred in all fifty states to snuff high-cost hospital patients, inconvenient relatives and other useless eaters. It is also an excellent way for heirs to get their legacy a bit early from grandpa and grandma or mom and dad.

It is also an excellent way to combat global warming. A living body produces an average of 400 btu's per hour. Think of it!

Also, each body that is alive in this country consumes an average of 21 lbs. per day of evil coal due to their use of electricity. A win win situation if I ever seen one.

We consume 21 pounds of coal per day yet give off a measly 400 btu per hour? That's so inefficient, it's obvious that humans are black holes, sucking up energy and causing global cooling.

I hardly need tell you, this is a global catastrophe. The seas will recede and we'll have no harbors. WHERE ARE WE GOING TO DOCK CRUISE SHIPS??? The oceans will shrink. Our coasts will move out further and further. We won't have any beaches. No beach blanket bingo. No girls in bikinis playing beach volleyball. Worse, how will we get out to floating casino ships beyond the 12-mile limit if the coast keeps moving out to the 12-mile limit with us?

I can't see any good coming of this unless global cooling can stop global warming. But that's doubtful. We'll get both.

Lollipop, Lollipop, by the Chordettes, co-written by Julius Dixon is a tune many of us more mature folk remember from youth. It is mostly forgotten, but not so much as Julius Dixon who now even is excised from the news. New York Post published this story. Thanks, LesforLife.

January 29, 2007 -- The songwriter of the '50s pop hit "Lollipop" starved to death at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan - where doctors and nurses brushed off complaints that he needed his missing dentures to eat, a shocking lawsuit claims.

Julius Dixson Sr. "was wasting away in their hospital, and, essentially, they did nothing to stop that," said Mitchel Ashley, a lawyer representing co-executors of Dixson's estate in their Manhattan Supreme Court suit against St. Luke's and two doctors.

One more step in the aftermath of exposing what happened to Haleigh Poutre is the formation of a committee. This committee now up and operating is plowing ahead, although all have seemed to forget the part on how DSS wanted Haleigh dead. Maybe there wasn't room in this story for it all. Or maybe they are rewriting what happened to make the whole episode all about DSS procedureal mistakes and not about how badly they wanted to snuff the kid.

BOSTON — The number of children abused or neglected across the state in 2005 could fill Fenway Park, according to House Speaker Salvatore DiMasi.

The startling amount prompted him to create a child-abuse committee, whose members spoke with social workers and child-abuse experts last week to improve the safety of children in Massachusetts.

The House Committee on Child Abuse and Neglect met for the first time and heard testimony from state agencies and private individuals about improvements and future plans for the Department of Social Services, Department of Mental Health, and other associated agencies. The 11-person committee, formed by DiMasi, D-Boston, was triggered by the devastating 2005 case of Haleigh Poutre, which caused lawmakers to examine how the Department of Social Services operates.

Thanks, Coleus, for this irony on the logic-defying views of two subjects, the horse, Barbaro, and human victims like Terri.

We all have been treated to the peculiar logic which would have liberals weeping and wailing over the plight of baby seals, while not even wincing at living human babies tossed into dumpsters. We have hailed benevolent organizations such a PETA and the wonders they do to save poor little critters, while the same liberals shrug off the mass slaughter of pets at the hands of this same group, and none would squeak at unfair treatment of hapless humans, children of God. So now we have wailing and gnashing of teeth over the fate of a horse by the same, many of whom would turn their backs on similar plight of a human.

Tearful stories of Barbaro abound on the fight to live, to overcome death, but I have yet to find a story addressing the irony.

Another item is lacking here. Felos exclaimed to us all the joys and euphoria of being killed by his accepted methods of euthanasia. Yet, we find a dearth of appreciation of the joys poor Barbaro received at the hands of his own final judges. Here are some stories:

"There seems to be part of us that connects to animals at a different level. It seems to be part of the heart, part of the soul," said Miller, now a church rector in Hawaii.

Animals are also cute, furry and sweet, said Heidi Brasher, director of community outreach for the Houston Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, which works with all kinds of animals.

"We see so many animals that don't have their own voice, animals in tough situations," Brasher said. "People feel a connection because they feel like they can be the voice of that animal."

Death of Barbaro touches many here

“Barbaro was a very special horse, not only because he provided me with the greatest achievement in my career but also because he showed he was a horse with a lot of courage and a lot of will to live,” Prado said. “He fought for eight months and nine days, but unfortunately the laminitis was just too strong.”

Prado honors Barbaro for his ‘courage, will to live’

More Planned Parenthood thought, from wagglebee...

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- The Planned Parenthood Federation of America is coming under fire for continuing to mislead women about the mental health risks associated with having an abortion. In a statement released Tuesday by PPFA medical director Vanessa Cullins, the abortion business claims there are no emotional or psychological concerns.

Cullins answered a sample question from a Planned Parenthood supporter asking if "having an abortion emotionally and psychologically dangerous."

"No. Most women feel relief after an abortion," Cullins responded.

>> Dixson died on Jan. 30, 2004, from "metabolic complications of weight loss and dehydration."

Sickening. But the starvation death of a SHOW BUSINESS figure may open some eyes. It's one thing to snuff a nobody like Terri Schiavo, but if they start killing actors and reporters, that's different! That's too close to home.

Walter Cronkite and Dan Rather eat 'WAY too much, don't you think? And Jane Fonda. Of all the superannuated useless eaters on earth, she heads the list.

Or super useless annuated eaters...

I can think of nobody deserving of the label, "Traitor" in our history, for the life of me than Jane Fonda. Any thought of this person brings back the image of her thrilled with her pals in North Vietnam, cheering them on as they killed our brave fighters.

Dixon didn't even get a lollipop, but the story is almost buried so far. I can find nothing more on this and hope it gets aired.

Come to think of it, I can think of no better example of unrequited justice as I see Jane Fonda polluting our air by her utterances these years later, free and thriving.

>> Ultimately, though, the drive to help an animal and a person is simply instinctual, said Hofferty, a pediatric nurse

If so, that would be an amazing "instinct." Yet we must admit, something drives us to help even a bedraggled kitten up a tree. And it is simply a fact that many have died trying to rescue animals from fires, floods or other threats. This is worth contemplating. The impulse to do so is anti-survival and thus it defies a Darwinist explanation.

I wince when I think of the resources, time and money we have dispensed over the years on behalf of animals, the sacrifices we would make for them. As I type this, a stray cat we rescued in France ten years ago, sits at my feet, pestering me without pity, knowingly interfering with my keyboard. He will prevail and as usual I will offer him something better than most cats could ever find and he will probably snub it.

I could relate countless stories of how our dogs dominated our attention.

Yet we never had a problem discerning the role of animals vis a vis humans, never were able to understand placement of animals in a status comparable to or superior to human life, although the quality of some humans does cry for such a comparison.

We can make a little noise here. Liberals are about two hundred years late in learning that what you sow, you reap. They exulted in the killing of a helpless disabled woman. Now let them learn how euphoric and "dignified" it is to die because some aide lost your false teeth. Let them learn that nobody cares if they die and that nobody will listen when they cry out, "Help me! Help!"

"Woof!" (Daddy will have to translate this for me.)

"Greetings to your cat. I am a rescue dog. I am a princess too! But I am a working dog. I drive away squirrels and hippopotamuses, and I dance for my supper, and I make Daddy laugh. A lot. I will wag like crazy when you come to see us. Wooooooof!!"

Our cat says "woof" back. Poor thing when a tiny kitten on our doorstep was raised with our two dogs. He never understood he was not a dog, actually gives out a little bark when demanding my attention. Back when our dogs were protecting our abode and would run down the driveway to greet/confront visitors, the kitten would run along between them, meowling his best imitation of a bark. He still is a kitten, sort of permanently. We clipped his tomcathood just a little early.
