The Golden Rule of Sound Citizenship
The Patriot Post ^ | 12/4/07 | Albert Jay Nock

“Here is the Golden Rule of sound citizenship, the first and greatest lesson in the study of politics: You get the same order of criminality from any State to which you give power to exercise it; and whatever power you give the State to do things FOR you carries with it the equivalent power to do things TO you.”

TOPICS: Culture/Society; Government; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: criminality; politics; state
...criminality from any State...

Almost everything the Congress does is outside the bounds of the 10th Amendment and our Supreme Court ignores/changes the US Constitution at will.

We have big government Republicans, pragmatic Republicans, Idealistic Republicans and libertarian Republicans.

On the left, no slowing down the govt spending. On the right, an inability to understand that you cannot turn an elephant into a mouse.
