Near Taji Special Iraqi Army Forces, with Coalition advisors, captured a suspected insurgent and detained seven additional suspects during another Sunday raid.
The insurgent is believed to be part of a cell that provides safe houses and staging areas for attacks and other operations in Baghdad to al Qaeda in Iraq.
Several assault rifles were also confiscated during the operation.
There was minimum damage done to the objective and there were no Iraqi civilian, Iraqi Force or Coalition Force casualties.
