Wow - this is extremely liberal use of the word "Chicago". They might as well refer to Bakersfield as "Los Angeles". They keep referring to the Loma Prieta 'quake as the San Fransisco 'quake.
Everything west of the Hudson River is pretty much the same...

ABC News reported that he is linked to Al Qaeda. To be honest...I can't believe they haven't done things like this already...it would destroy the U.S. economy and especially the shopping season for Christmas as people would fear going to the stores.
Seems like such an obvious tactic that we all have been waiting for...really shocked it has not happened yet.

Rockford IL is sometimes considered a far NW suburb of Chicago...
I never understood that. It's kind of far away, and there's absolutely nothing between O'Hare and Rockford. Total wilderness. Then again, Milwaukee's airport trademarked the phrase "Chicago's third airport," so I guess there's precedent.

Well, for what it's worth, I lived in LA for 4 years and whenever my friends in Texas asked where I lived, I always lied and said I was in Bakersfield...I was just too ashamed to tell them the truth.
