Perhaps you are right. I have been troubled lately by the thought that maybe I shouldn't be posting here any longer. Now, it seems, would be as good a time as any to take a holiday.
Merry Christmas all and a Happy New Year!

There was never a law suit. There was never a law suit about trees.
There was a threat by a lawyer speaking for the Rabbi concerning a suit about placing a Menorah.
If the Rabbi is no longer concerned about putting up the Menorah, asking nicely, and being rejected, or by filing a suit to test his right in court, it's because he has learned a lesson, as have I, and I assume other Jews here, about some Christians in America. Unfortunately about the more "Conservative" ones.
In a way, I see the Airport's response, and the Christian virtual riot to that Airport's response, and where the blame was placed, as familiar in another religion.

"I have been troubled lately by the thought that maybe I shouldn't be posting here any longer. Now, it seems, would be as good a time as any to take a holiday."
I took the liberty of going back and reviewing your posts and must confess that I don't see anything wrong with anything you've written. While I wouldn't blame you for thinking it time to log out, I would urge you to not go far. This forum needs calm voices!
I'm seeing an incredible amount of knee-jerk response in place of deliberative thought here lately, along with a ton of emotion masquarading as ration, and I can see how that can be discouraging. We have enemies - many that live right here amongst us, and yet we continue to rip & slash at one another. The DUmmies must be having a field day.
And the rancor! People - you need to refocus your anger! While you're busy chewing the hide of your neighbor, your enemies are setting up camp.
Or continue to bicker and bitch at one another over trivialities and minutia and miss the central point - your way of life is being threatened.
Like my new FRiend claudiustg, I think I'll go enjoy Christmas with my family and leave the infighting to y'all...
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I read the article, unlike yourself. So please refrain on your kneejerk attacks of anybody that does not see things your way.

Yes, from what I heard this morning on Fox news.

...when I am with that group again, I must figure out a way to work cotton into every topic I can. :)This post is off-topic of this thread, but I thought of you when I ran across this note in Wikipedia's description of the great WWII hero, Audie Murphy:
The American Cotton Museum in Greenville (Hunt County), Texas is located just off Interstate 30 East. Recently renamed the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum, it houses the largest collection of Audie Murphy memorabilia and personal items....
