This guy is a freakin' idiot.

What, and being broke in California is better?
Actually, I'd rather he NOT come to Texas.

"I am rather screwed," he said.
(What an understatement!)
His current sources of income include selling comic books on EBay and freelance photos to golf and travel publications.
(UH, how about getting a REAL job, Will.)
"I'm waiting for a 100-year loan," he said. "My heirs can worry about paying it off."
(This guy is a real prince, isn't he?)

"Free money always has the unfortunate effect of making people go overboard," said Hertzberg, whose living room is strewn with financial publications including American Cash Flow Journal and Donald Trump's "How to Get Rich." "You'd be surprised how fast $190,000 can go."Well, there's your problem, dumbass -- it was never "free money." Geez, don't they teach fiscal responsibility any more?

What if he represents a number of your neighbors? It adds a new perspective on the phrase, "there goes the neighborhood".
For starters, nobody is gonna mow the lawn.

He's one of thousands doing this in southern California. Entire fleets of Mercedes and Range Rovers owe their existence to the housing ATM. HELOC spending has been driving the economy here for maybe four to five years. When the party stops it is going to send ripples far beyond California's borders.
