Spying On Di - OK, On Al Qaeda - No
Stratasphere ^ | 12-11-06 | AJ Strata

Democrats have stepped into it big time. We need to make sure the NSA’s program of monitoring known terrorists overseas and passing any leads on possible terrorists in the US be continued. And now the Democrats are going to have to explain why it was OK to monitor Princess Di, but it is not important to investigate who Osama Bin Laden is talking to in the US. Well at least Clinton and his cronies can pat themselves on the back now. While they couldn’t find or stop Bin Laden, they were able to find Princess Di. Congrats to the Clinton administration! Job well done.

The 800 lb. elephant in the room if the repubs would grow a pair and fight back at the party of jackasses, Pelosi and Reid et al.

Not likely to happen. This will go the way of all the other Clinton lies, crimes, and scandals.

When Slick was tapping Di's phone, do you think Hillary knew about it, or is she currently smacking him with her riding crop??

I do not think Bj Billy did anything Hillary was not aware of, including Monica.

Part of the problem...a big part...is that there are too many RINOS that feel the same as the dems. Any GOP Senators that agree with what Pres. Bush is doing re: the NSA progam...are outnumbered.

One of the main Senators against the NSA was Arlen Specter...and he was the GOP Chairman of the Judiciary Committee...

I know. It is truly sad and unbelievable. Specter is an idiot and when the repubs gain control of Congress in 2008 again, Arlen will not be heading the judiciary again.

She was probably trying to get a date.

Having missed Drudge last night, maybe you can enlighten me.

Was Princess Di conversing with terrorists, or did she talk with someone here in the USA?

As far as the surveillance laws then in effect are concerned, there is likely to be a distinction.

Whether Klintoon personally authorized it is beside the point. Rather, was there a national security issue involved?

At the time Diana was dating Forstmann a rich NY Republican contributor who was considering running against Hillary.

Why forget it? Why were Forstmann's phones bugged?

Forstmann is a conservative Republican. Around the time of the wiretaps, he was on the board of the American Spectator. He would qualify as a member of Hillary's "vast right wing conspiracy."

In my script to this saga, the trail leads them right to the Clintons.

Already the NSA has denied listening in.

A rogue wiretap under guise of EXTREME NATIONAL SECURITY.

"Democrats are going to have to explain why it was OK to monitor Princess Di..."

That's an easy one: Once upon a time, Princess Di enamored the world. At the time of her death there was another female--the wife of the then current American president--who felt she deserved to be similarly enamored by the world. However, to rise to such a level required her to find out Princess Di's enamoring secrets. Thus she utilized people, whom no one knew who they had been hired by, to find out those secrets. She did learn those secrets--through spying on Princess Di--and now she is working on making herself equally enamoring of the world!

Klinton spied on everyone then, which is how he kept people in check and destroyed his enemies. Remember when he announced that Bob Hope had died, and it turned out he hadn't, but he almost did? That had to have come from an intercept.

Yep. The pubs won't win another election until they come clean about why they aren't attacking the clintons and radical leftists - and then start doing it. GOP is acting like a bunch of fairies.
