They go around putting up menorahs, they do not go around suing people. Sometimes they have been sued by the ACLU for putting up the menorah.
Please get your facts straight, I am a member of this organization and two of my sons are very active in the menorah campaign, in Moscow and San Francisco.
Rabbi Bogulmilsky has admitted his mistake and the trees are back in place at Sea-Tac.
I thought one of the main principles of the Christian faith was forgiveness, especially towards someone who is contrite. But maybe I am wrong.
FRmail me to be added or removed from this Judaic/pro-Israel/Russian Jewry ping list.
Warning! This is a high-volume ping list.

Our idiot Drive-by-Media did not help during this news cycle either. Mark Twain was right when he said: "A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes." I for one am grateful for the work of the Lubavitchers.
As to the ACLU, what they're missing is a complaintant who has suffered due to Sea-Tac's actions. If they find one, we may be reading about this for awhile.
Interchangeable, aren't they? Both communist cities!
If the airport had a nativity display, I could understand the rabbis point.
The group he is part of, the Lubavitchers, goes around suing different places to put up menorahs every year

The person you are responding to is a rightwing Roman Catholic and would love to see pro-Israel Fundamentalist Protestants return to the "mother church." Naturally such a person is going to do everything in his power to exploit this situation.
Meanwhile, once 12/25 passes, this person will go right back to being a favored minority in a majority Protestant country and will benefit from the same double-standard that all minorities do. This person will routinely accuse Protestants of "anti-Catholic bigotry" while never considering for one moment that a member of the Catholic minority could possibly be guilty of bigotry against the Protestant majority.
Don't worry Alouette. Any pro-Jewish Bible chr*stians who are tempted to "return to the womb" during this time of year won't survive once the season passes and their new "co-religionists" keep shooting off their mouths about "brain-dead Bibliolators" and calling people "Cletus."
Alouette, there is an extremely vocal group of people here who value rigidity and stupidity over reason. And they have really come out of the woodwork over this issue.
The problem has been fixed but they still want to flog the rabbi through the fleet. They're a bunch of freaking retards and they're poisoning the well.
This is making me physically ill. :(
No prob. I forgive. If Christian holidays fall, yours do, too. By the way, the Menorah is a beautiful story. I really enjoy the feasts. The significance of the feasts to Christians is truly powerful. They point to so much in the New Testament. One cannot understand the New Testament without a thorough understanding of the Old Testament. When St. Paul said that we are "grafted in the vine", he was indicating that we are brothers/sisters. As "a Pharisee's Pharisee", schooled under Gamiliel, I think he understood this well. Forgiveness is only a problem for those who are ignorant. Jesus looked upon those crucifying Him and said, "Father, forgive them as they know not what they do."
