Why are white Americans afraid to speak truth to black Americans?
Let me start with a tale of two Michaels:
Michael Richards, the "Seinfeld" co-star who lashed out at a black heckler, repeatedly calling the man a "ni---r," has since made numerous apologies to black Americans.
He apologized on David Letterman's "Late Show" – but that forum wasn't "black enough" – so Richards was forced to grovel on Jesse Jackson's radio show.
The black man Richards insulted has retained Gloria Allred. Next month, he will express his contrition in front of a retired judge who will determine how much money Richards should dole out for hurling the "N" word.
Then there's the Nov. 25 shooting in New York City, where NYPD officers shot Sean Bell, a 23-year-old black man outside a strip club in Queens when he tried to ram an officer with his car. The incident has outraged Rev. Al Sharpton ("the Riot King") and other black leaders.
Sharpton is threatening to lead a massive pre-Christmas march along Manhattan's Fifth Avenue – stating, "We're going shopping for justice this Christmas."
Let's not forget that Sharpton gave us the Tawana Brawley hoax and provoked the Crown Heights riot in the Hasidic (Jewish) section of Brooklyn.
Why should anyone listen to this hypocrite?
After the police shooting, Michael (the other Michael) Bloomberg, the mayor of NYC, met with Sharpton and other black racist agitators and prematurely criticized the deadly shooting, calling it "inexplicable" and "unacceptable." Can you say "cave"?
What has happened to white men in this country?
White men used to be tough. John Wayne, Charlton Heston and Ronald Reagan exemplified a strong male image. But because of the successful attack – by secular progressives like NOW (National Organization of Women who Hate Men), the ACLU, homosexual groups and liberal black leaders – most white males have been emasculated.
Years of scapegoating and charges of racism have intimidated whites to the point that they no longer speak out on issues concerning race and morality.
After Dr. King's assassination in 1968, Jesse Jackson showed up in front of the news cameras holding a bloody sweater. This is all it took for him to be promoted by the elite media as the "heir apparent" to King.
This despite Jackson's repeated falling out with Dr. King's organization, the SCLC (Southern Christian Leadership Conference).
In 1971, Ralph Abernathy, King's successor at SCLC, suspended Jackson for "administrative improprieties and repeated acts of violation of organizational policy." Jackson then left the group and started Operation PUSH.
The mainstream media keep wicked black leaders like Jackson in power. Whenever there's a racial issue in this country Jackson or Sharpton are on the airwaves to "blame whitey."
The media and false black leaders succeeded in changing the allegiance of many black Americans – from a pro-family, pro-God people to a government-dependant people as we witnessed during Katrina.
White people are angry at Jackson and the phony civil-rights leaders who have made a living off of blaming them for the problems of blacks. And they're angry about the double standard when it comes to racial issues – and for not being allowed to openly express their disagreements with blacks.
But they remain silent.
This has resulted in the phenomenon of white fear – fear of criticizing blacks – no matter how corrupt, immoral or evil the perpetrator.
Since whites are not allowed to express themselves, they either cower down like Michael Bloomberg, or they lash out in anger like Michael Richards. Then Jesse Jackson swoops in and points to the overreaction as evidence of white racism – to exploit the situation for profit.
White Americans need to stand up for truth with strength and patience. If we can find white people with courage, we can change this country – and the tale of two Michaels would have a happy ending.
What is courage? Well, I can tell you what courage is not: 1) Courage is not resenting blacks and complaining to your white friends behind closed doors. 2) It's not tolerating black misconduct, and 3) Courage is not adopting the divisive, politically correct term "African American."
As for black Americans, they need to repudiate their "leaders" and let go of past grievances, lest they self-destruct.
It will take decent whites and blacks to come together to live out the promise of Dr. King's dream. Then, America will finally become the land of the free and the home of the brave!

I don't think Mike Richards is Jewish
"White men used to be tough."
Those were the days that people did not sue each other at the drop of a hat. A lawsuit can ruin a person financially even if he is found innocent of the charges.
If a member of a minority group feels "insulted" he will get a lawyer pro Deo from the ACLU while the white man can expect to have to hire his own expensive lawyer. Besides, we live in a PC society which makes the white man guilty by his color alone.
It is not justice that our society strives for; it is the propagation of diversity at any expense that is promoted.
I hope that more blacks like Peterson come out and express their views. He is very rational and is not caught up in "blackness" as many people are. See "blackness" is like a religion and if you are yourself in the black community, I mean if you don't have a set of general behaviors and attitudes then you are seen as a sell-out.
Being black myself(father from East Africa and mom from Panama) I find that "blackness" to many ethnocentric people, no matter the obvious social and societal problems that goes with it, is more important then being yourself or acting different(acting right, conforming to the general society).
Being born in and growing up in Miami, FL I was able to witness these patterns but I was given the impression from everyone in the minority communities that Blacks were constantly being harrassed and discriminated against continiously. This I never really found and for most of my life white people have been kinder to me than black. That's the truth. I love black people and anyone for that matter but the things I see going on in the black communities kill me.
Its becoming more and more obvious that welfare, affirmative action and other inequalizers was, and is the Trojan horse of the Black community.
I just hope that whites or more specifically liberal whites stop babying blacks, and stop treating them like children that can't take care of them selves. In a way I don't put that much blame on white liberals because blacks were given a brain by God to use which they choose not to use to its full capacity.
Not a law expert, but if a person is found innocent shouldn't the accuser be required to pays his/her legal bills ? Or Can't the accused counter sue for defamation/legal expenses..etc ?
As for the main article, I fear for the Reverend's life.
Not afraid. Not cowards. But fully aware of the power of the race-industry slime machine.
"whites" have no defense whatsoever. Any "white" accused of any kind of a bias offense is automatically guilty. This generally means losing one's job. There is no confronting one's accuser. There is no listening to the "white". There is no pleading. There is an automatic verdict of guilty. There is no appeal.
The offense, even if slight, is kept in the left's file, to be used when needed, with amplification and added lies, to prevent the accused from ever recovering.
So we don't fight it.
I think it starts at home. I know it did for JEsse.
I am glad that you have found this to be true. As a white man, I have tried to make it true. I have, on occasion, observed discrimination against blacks. However, I have seen with other ethnic and religious groups as well. Honestly working toward a color blind society is the right answer; no bigotry, no racial preferences.
Barak Obama white? or Steve Martin white?..
or Julian Bond, Tony Brown or Micheal Jackson white?..

Stanley Crouch of the NY Post has been writing very good articles condemning hip-hop, rap, gangster clothing, etc.
Then there is Roy Innis of CORE who the media ignores.
Errol Louis, NY Daily News, liberal, is trying to clean up his neighborhood of Crown Heights in Brooklyn by appealing to the decent people who live there.
We need a third party with the Rev. Peterson, Chuck Norris and Thomas Sowell on the ticket.

That article proves my point. He's not Jewish, he wasn't born Jewish and he hasn't converted. Feeling that you're Jewish doesn't make it so.
It's not just white men, and it's not just blacks.
To give an example...recently a white woman who works for our company as an independent contractor made some remarks about how lots of Hispanics were crowding into her apartment building, eight or more to an apartment, (in violation of the law,) making noise, intimidating other tenants and generally ruining the building. A Hispanic girl heard her and was "offended." She tattled to the boss. The boss immediately called up the white woman, told her off, and fired her. All the other employees (white, black, and Hispanic,) were cheering in approval when they heard of the firing, and they congratulated the Hispanic employee for standing up for her race and getting this horrible, insensitive woman fired.
Now, the white woman had only told the truth about what was happening in her apartment building. But a "minority" (actually, probably not a minority here in LA,) was "offended," so that meant the white woman had committed the unpardonable sin and deserved to be punished. But losing her job was not enough, apparently. After the firing, the offended Hispanic girl smugly expressed her wish that those Hispanic guys in the white woman's building would jump the white woman and attack her and beat her up, because she would deserve it after what she'd said. Nobody objected to these remarks.
My point is...the white woman had just told the truth about what was happening in her building, and that made her a despicable person who deserved to be punished. But it's perfectly okay for an Hispanic woman to openly express a wish that a white woman would be jumped, beaten and attacked by a bunch of males. This is the whole double standard that is going on. Whites who say anything racial, anything "insensitive," are the most horrible people on earth. No punishment is too bad for them. But if a nonwhite says something mean or insensitive about a white, they are allowed and even cheered. Or they are only "venting their justified rage."
Whites all over have gotten the message loud and clear. It is, "Shut up. You are not allowed to speak freely. Only nonwhites are. If you speak up, you will lose your job. You will be sued and lose everything you have. In any sort of confrontation or disagreement with a nonwhite, you will automatically be the bad guy. So keep your mouth shut and turn the other cheek."
I guess you're right, but feeling that you're Jewish when you aren't isn't very typical of American white men anyhow, which was my original point about Mike Richards.
I have several successful middle class friends who are black. They all function on solid conservative values (hard work, family, church), which is the reason they are successful.
Unfortunately, I see plenty of the opposite. The father of one young man I know had fifteen children with three different wives, used drugs, was abusive to his children, and spent time in prison. It's amazing that he has turned out as well as he has.... I have to credit his Mom for doing a good job under crappy circumstances. Sadly, his younger brothers/sisters aren't doing so well. The daughter of another friend was harrassed and taunted in our local High School because (1) she is studious, and (2) had friends outside her racial group.
It's time to operate on the principle articulated by Erich Fromm, a Jewish psychologist who survived the death camps..."there are two human races, the decent and the indecent".
Jackson also claimed to hear Dr King's last words. Abernathy proved that this was a lie, as Jackson was nowhere near King when he died.
