What planet are you living on? Don't know how to break this to you Red -- but Milosevic is DEAD! He died last March! trial over. And you don't even know this fact, but you think that you understand Balkan politics? You are "in kindergarten" with regarding the Balkans and you are acting as though you have a "doctorate", lecturing us with rehashed Clintonite propaganda. It's ridiculous.
I am no Slobo fan. I think that Milosevic belonged in prison --a Serbian prison -- for what he did do, not what he didn't do. But the ICTY is a farce; it is "victor's justice" -- a political hoax. And because the ICTY had nothing on Milosevic and prosecuted him for what he didn't do, they made the SOB a martyr -- and that was the worst of all possible scenarios.
And there was no "opportune time for 9/11". The Balkans is and always has been "a political barometer" of Europe. It is where 3 of the world's major religions meet, and politically where East meets West. You can always bet that if there is "trouble in the Balkans", there is trouble in Europe (and the world), period. And that "trouble" is rarely ever of the making of those who live there -- it has always been a sign that either Germany or the Moslem world are in expansion mode. This time, it was both.
If it's any satisfaction to the Serbs, we are paying for it to this day.
Sorry about all that.
I know he's dead, I know about the conspiracy theories people like you concocted about how he was murdered. Do you read what I write?
---The point your side makes is that all comparisons between Nazi Germany and Serbia are wrong.
*** He was on trail. Look at what he was on trail for in the link I provided. What did he lead?
*** Now pick a Nazi war criminal. Look at what he was on trail for.
As to the free Slobodan web sites:
You know what the problem is with people that defend these acts? Their world view is not much unlike that of some Tutsi or Hutu. The views they express is what one expects from some ignorant gunman in a third world banana republic. A place where heathens and savages, people who are uneducated and uncultured, rule. Its nearly unimaginable that these people call themselves European.
If it hadn't been for Clinton bombing Serb civilians, Slobodan was heading for the Ceaucescu treatment from his own people.
But folks just like you knew better and now the Moslems have two new terror bases in Europe.
Nice shootin', Tex!
Just for summary, so that Im set right the next time I talk to someone about this issue.
1. The NATO intervention was about oil. (That was a good one. lol)
2. Serbia wanted to stop hostile actions but couldnt because they were stopping AQ operatives. In the cross roads of the Balkans its the Serbs that held back AQ all these years!
3. NATO targeted civilians but Serbia is a multiethnic society that wanted to increase their diversity by protecting Muslims in Bosnia. That's why the YPA declared the Eastern and Central parts of Bosnia "Serbian Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina". The militias, and paramilitaries that swept through these areas were "gentlemen".
4. The kangaroo court in The Hague went on a witch hunt and the real crimes were committed by the Muslims, to include attacks on themselves. (Can you remember the rumors spread about how the Muslims shelled themselves at the market?)
5. The trails at the Hague prove that there was no systemic, deliberate, and premeditated genocide!
6. Most refugees that fled the Balkans were actually Serbs!
7. The Serbs were the ones trying to get to a peaceful resolution as fast as possible but it was NATO and that evil Clark that prevented this.
8. Milosevic was murdered, and all the UN, EU, NATO troops, international media, international tribunal investigations are *conspiring* about what they saw. There were no camps, there were no mass graves.
Now, I understand that when I tell people this I have to say that If you dont believe this youre crazy. If people doubt anything, just deny it, make counter accusations, and call them names.
I feel enlightened now.
["Now pick a Nazi war criminal. Look at what he was on trail for."]
Okay, I'll pick one. How about Heinrich Himmler?
Now, tell me what trail he was on and then pick his analagous counterpart in Serbia that was on the same trail as that monster?....How about Pol Pot?...oops how silly of me - wrong country that was Cambodia.

http://www.trial-ch.org/en/trial-watch/profile/db/facts/ernst_kaltenbrunner_103.html You can look at the rest.
If you look at the themes, go beyond the shear semantics, you realize that those sentenced in the Hague, did the same sort of things Nazi war criminals did.
What this debate will now degenerate into is whether killing six million people is worse than killing a few thousand. It's still the same crime.
Someone I knew shot an Iraqi in the head point blank. The Iraqi was no threat and wounded. The Iraqi was most likely mortally wounded and just waiting to die.
This soldier I knew only killed one person in this incident and it's even questionable if he in that split second was thinking about what he was doing. The guy he shot was a bad guy 100% for sure (Part of the Sadr militia). His record was impeccable and he never did anything like that before. He's a nice guy if you meet him in person. Today CPT Maynulet is a convicted felon.
Are his actions acceptable because he only killed one person illegally?
good answer, but you are missing the big picture. The Oil issue is only one of many reasons. We have always tried to provoke Russian in a war, we are chasing the oil reserves for investing and control purposes, to have access etc....
it's not only about the oil. All these campaigns and wars and such have one purpose in mind for the big picture in the end, while making money along the way. The main objective is to drive the entire globe into a one world government, dictated by a facist system. This sums up the entire strategy with objectives along the way and attempts that have so far failed. This is, of course a over simplified answer, but, I just don't have the time to present a three page thesis.
I'll have to admit, your MSM propoents are doing their homework and stepping up the BS and rhetoric, using half truths, possible, reported, and other words that mislead. The truth will be buried by the lies, and half truths if allowed to run it's course without intervention.
The most criminal part, folks like yourself and your supporters can actually sleep at night.
Did you google that, thinking, "Oh crap! I"ve been caught"?
Love the "you people" reference. Not sure who you are talking about, but I am an American of Montenegrin descent -- family's been here since a little after WWI. Recall saying that Slobo was an SOB, but just go on deluding yourself -- can't seem to stop you.
Did YOU read what I wrote? Or more specifically the link to the interview with James Harff of the PR Firm, Ruder Finn, who bragged about how he created the entire Nazi/Holocaust metaphor for the break-up of Yugoslavia in the press, in spite of the fact that one of his clients -- Tudjman of Croatia, was a Holocaust denying, goose-stepping real Nazi and the other client, Izetbegovic, had said that "there can be no co-existance between Islamic and non-Islamic institutions. Muslims must take control as soon as it is numerically possible"? Nah. Didn't think so.
Have you ever been to the Balkans, Red? Ever seen the place or read anything about it before the place came apart at the seams? I doubt it, or you wouldn't be so gullible. Nor would you be so quick to divide the people into groups of "black hats" and "white hats", if you had family -- as I do -- who are mixed.
Unless of course, you are just another fool who Hoplite drug in -- as he has many -- to take the blows while he hides behind you cheering you on. If so, good luck with that!
This whole debate is far off from the original article and appear to be going nowhere.
Before we throw stones, we need to clean up our own back yard and face the issues head on. A true patriot is not going along with the administration or following the MSM's reports, but staying with the Constitution and Bill of Rights, that were in effect in the beginning, staying with the Ten Commandments and fighting any and all efforts to change either......
"This has been going on for years, essentially the post WWII Communist movement was just a movement by under developed countries to break free from foreign interference, largely American and European interference. That's why the end of the Cold War had to see the beginning of a new war, the War on Drugs and the War on Terror. America has to be constantly at war because that is the only way to maintain the economy. By being at war it gives American agencies access to the funding that they need to maintain global preeminence.
This is what the issue was with Iran/Contra. Congress, not a full supporter of the schemes of the American wealthy elite at that time, pulled funding from the wars that the Reagan administration was trying to wage in the Middle East and South America to maintain American preeminence, so covert illegal action was taken because it was a war that the wealthy felt had to be fought to maintain the American economic position. It's why the CIA facilitated the sale of cocaine to American cities, to fund the wars that are required to maintain the American economy.
The truth is that the economic freedoms that we enjoy here in America, and the lifestyles that we all live, are a product of years of American global oppression. That's why there are terrorists in the world that hate America, and whether or not American citizens know it, the rest of the world knows it. This issue is not just an American issue though. This is an issue between all developed countries and underdeveloped countries, including countries like Australia, Japan, European countries, etc. America is just the largest offender, but there are many offenders.
More precisely it is an issue between wealthy international capitalists and the under privileged populations of the world.
The real way that American foreign investment works is this:
Wealthy American investors build factories, farms, oil wells, etc. in under developed countries where labor and resources are cheap.
The people eventually get restless and rebel against the foreign investors because of unfriendly business practices and the effort by business to maintain cheap labor and working facilities.
The American investors get support for a coup from the American government who employs any number of means to put an American business friendly leader into office in the country (overt war, covert war, funding of local loyalists, assassination, etc).
American banks, or the IMF, give loans to the country, which the American friendly leader agrees to take out, for things like the building of infrastructure, roads, railroads, shipping ports, etc. The rational is that this infrastructure will help the country develop economically. Of course the country is really paying to build things that serve the interests of the American investors.
America also agrees to train the police and military forces of the country so that the leader can protect his position.
America then pays "foreign aid" to the leader of the country in order to keep the leader loyal to American interests, as well as supplying the government with arms.
In addition, the American investors that are now doing business in the country also give payoffs to the local leadership to keep them loyal to the American business interests.
These countries do not have constitutions that grant significant rights to the people. The governments are loyal to America, not their own populations. As the people begin to fight for labor rights and improved working conditions and increased pay, the governments use the American supported military and police to oppress the population.
By doing this America has cultivated American loyalists in countries all over the world, who are loyal to American interests, not the interests of their own countries. America sees to it, or at least attempts to, that these American loyalists are who maintains political power in these countries.
Traditionally there have been two typical consequences of this since WWII. The people either move towards Communism or Islamic fundamentalism. This is for a variety of different reasons, but the main thing that both scenarios have in common is that radical leaders that oppose foreign control over the local government gain growing support as the people become increasingly more desperate to rid their country from oppressive foreign control.
Well, points for being shameless.
Your hero Izetbegovich recruited for the SS.
And you dare lecture others on the evil of the NAZIs.
As I said, points for being shameless.
You really are a Holocaust revisionist. Moral equivalence to the n'th degree. And then some.
You really are desperate to cleanse the Balkan SS soldiers of their guilt aren't you.
And you can still sleep at night?
Their ethnic German officers wrote of their disgust at what your heros did to Serbs, Roma and Jews, yet all you can do is jump to their defence.
Shame hath no name.
