A follow-up story whereby the nice publisher is apparently going to try to extort a pile of money from Rupert for firing her with cause.

Rupert approved the OJ deal.

She claimed that there was a "Jewish cabal" against her.
An odd claim, given that the International Jewish Conspiracy (R) currently has more than enough work on our hands controlling the banking system, promoting the hapless Hollywood career of talentless actor Jeff Goldblum, and increasing the number of sunspots.

Yeh.
So did Jesse Jackson and every other antisemitic jackass.

I posted this on another thread, but do you notice lately that most every conservative that gets themselves in "trouble" are accused of an anti-semetic rant? It seems that every conservative is anti-semetic or at least the MSM makes it that way.

The Times said shortly after the remarks were made, Murdoch declared he would not tolerate "that kind of behavior" and allowed HarperCollins chief executive Jane Friedman to fire her just as News Corp. held its Christmas party for employees. Wonder if she drank too much Christmas "cheer" at the party?

She made a poor choice, cost her company a fortune and got canned. Certainly fits "termination with cause". But maybe she can't afford a good Jewish lawyer ;)

IMO, It's a credibility attack because Regan's lawyers declared war on the publisher.
To: Zakeet
Well...this should be ugly.
(Anything involving Regan usually is.)
To: timsbella
Her lawyer (Bert Fields) IS Jewish. And, FWIW, her remarks were a bit ill-conceived, but NOT, IMO, evidence of Jew-hatred.

Well, I don't know. I may be making a assumption. I seem to recall that Rush talked about her being his agent and made me think she was conservative. Someone will correct me here shortly.

I know she is also Mark Furhman's agent as well as Rush's. I think she is just a person who knows how to take advantage of a business opportunity and turn it into something lucrative.

Aye, there's the rub. What is a Conservative that they will sell their principles, Regan, Rush? NOT.
Either we are equal or we are not. Good people ought to be armed where they will, with wits and guns. Merry Christmas

My guess is that Rupert was trolling for a legitimate reason to fire her.
