It's hard to believe she'd be stupid enough to reveal anti-semitic sentiments, even if she harbored them. But I guess it's possible. Come to think of it, chasing the almighty dollar by getting involved with OJ was incredibly stupid. So....

Al-Reuters conveniently left out the substance of her remarks. Basically, she said Jews were plotting against her. She probably said it a little less politely.

I didn't know about her lawyer, but I agree about the remarks. Still it makes for headlines and glam and that's what it's all about. Wonder who's going to publish HER "If I did it"?

I thought Rush used Simon and Schuster for his publisher not Regan.

It's hard to believe she'd be stupid enough to reveal anti-semitic sentiments, even if she harbored them. It was in a phone conversation with a HarperCollins lawyer. Apparently the dust up is over a Mickey Mantle book which Newscorp may cancel. I don't know what her sentiments are, but it's really stupid to start talking about a Jewish cabal in a business context, especially when you work with the cabal members, and I believe one is one of your superiors. Had they not fired her, they'd have created a classic hostile work enviornment.

It is hard for me as a Yankee fan, who used to follow Mickey Mantle's career, to see how a book bashing the Mick will sell.

Yes her boss, with whom she famously did not get along, was Jewish, as was the in-house lawyer she fought with just before.
