Most of this is so silly it borders on fanaticism. But I am reminded of the current blizzard in Denver. In 1982, a blizzard came in on the evening of the 23d, into the 24th and left 2 1/2 feet of snow. It was referred to as the Christmas Blizzard of '82. This morning I noticed Fox referred to the current blizzard as the Holiday Blizzard of 2006.

Here's my $0.02 worth: For all these stores that want us to spend our dollars shopping for Christmas gifts in their stores (but they will refer to it as "holiday" shopping), yet they don't want to offend the adherents of other religions by mentioning "Christmas", I have two questions: Will your store be open on December 25? If not, why not?

As a frumie(Orthodox Jew) I find the war on Christmas disgusting. I make it a point to say Merry Christmas to gentiles-who always looked stunned- I guess they think relgious Jews are just like ACLU JINO'S.
Chanukah is over sundown Saturday night. Can people then freely say Merry Christmas
