Oughta have a mom as Prez, Hil sez
Daily News ^ | December 21, 2006 | MICHAEL McAULIFF

Sen. Hillary Clinton told a TV audience of 3 million women yesterday that the nation has "never had a mother" be President. Appearing on "The View" to push the 10th anniversary reissue of her book "It Takes a Village," Clinton chatted about family Christmases and raising kids these days.

The former First Lady noted, "We've never had a mother who ever ran for or held that position."

Clinton also acknowledged that the concept of electing a female President is "such a leap of faith."

The senator, considered the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination, raised the issue after conceding this week she didn't know if the country was ready for a female President, but added, "We need to try."

Clinton spent most of her time on "The View" talking about the difficulties of parenting - topics that play well with the show's 3 million-strong audience of women 18 to 49.

A recent Emily's List survey found younger women and moms were a key segment of voters who defected from the GOP last month and could go Democratic in 2008.

"I think it's harder and harder to navigate the world as a young parent," Clinton said, commiserating with the hosts over the dangers of Internet predators, TV violence and video games.

Offering a warmer side of herself, the senator seen by some as cold and calculating talked about the Clinton holiday ritual of church on Christmas Eve, decorating the tree, then opening presents in the morning.

Hillary Clinton on " the View" talking about Motherhood, isn't that the show that Rosie O' Lesbian is host? Rosie , now being sued by Donald Trump, Rosie who is being threatened to be sued by Orientals, Rosie who comforted the Drunken Dwarf Danny Devito?

I suppose to the vulgar that watch "the view" with the Vulgar host Rosie, do get a warm and fuzzy watching Hillary talk about Motherhood.

Sadly, Mrs. Kirkpatrick passed away recently.

She would have been a fantastic POTUS.

Been away from FR for a while - is PIAPS in the Freepctionary?

Also, would it be just as bad for me to vote against her because she's a woman as it would be for the demo she's going for to vote for her just because she's a woman?

Probably, but I'd vote against her because she's a power mad Marxist, not because she's a woman.

This passage from Atlas Shrugged sums up Hillary:
"She had pale eyes that looked fishy, cold and dead. And if you ever want to see pure evil, you should have seen the way her eyes glinted when she watched some man who'd talked back to her once and who'd just heard his name on the list of those getting nothing above basic pittance. And when you saw it, you saw the real motive of any person who's ever preached the slogan: 'From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.'"

Hillary! must surely think the American public is a bunch of gullible idiots, otherwise she wouldn't try to peddle this phony motherly act, and expect people to vote for her because of it. Sadly, however, some people will. It makes me want to vomit.

Electing a female president is not a leap of faith.

However, electing Hillary would be a leap into the abyss.

I'm here everyday and don't know what PIAPS stands for--LOL!

Your passage from Atlas Shrugged describes Hitlery better than anything I've read in a very long time!

Some clever freeper should figure a way to get that comparison out in public so that everyone sees!

A mother is someone who raises their kids, not someone who passes them off to nannies and daycare centers so she can be a politician and legal firm rainmaker. Someone who only bakes cookies as a PR stunt isn't a mother.

There are sperm donors who are not fathers and there are egg donors who are not mothers.

A few years back, PIAPS -- during my lurking years -- some here used if as an acronym for "Pig In A Pantsuit".

So far as I know, I alone use it today. But to me it seems spot on.

Hillary! must surely think the American public is a bunch of gullible idiots..

If she is on the ballot for President, then 43% of those who vote in the electorate will blindly choose her because she is a Democrat. So, as a point of fact, she is correct in the assumption about gullible idiots.
Remember, 49% of the American public have IQs less than 100; as such, they have an arithmetic propensity, as IQ lowers, to make decisions on emotion, not rationale.

Uh, no Hillary.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_female_United_States_presidential_and_vice-presidential_candidates lists women who have run for president. Even the first one, Victoria Woodhull, was a mother. Others were too. Hillary, tell the truth for once.

23 different women have run for President , starting with Victoria Woodhull(equal rights party) in 1872, to Cathy Gordon Brown (Independent Party) 2000.

Hillary isn't that bright, she probably doesn't know History too well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_female_United_States_presidential_and_vice-presidential_candidates

Mothers Who Kill Often Give Warnings

(WYMENSENEWS)--The reality is that the mother who kills her child is every mother, any mother.

While we were conducting research, countless mothers approached us with unsolicited tales about how they "almost snapped." These ranged from stories relating a moment of frustration in which mothers were able to exert some control and not harm their child, to others in which women had plans to run for political office and were in the process of killing their child but were saved from completing the act by an unexpected guest in the Lincoln Bedroom.

Frequently, women who deliberately killed their child or children suffered from some form of mental illness or had a history of mental illness, sometimes related to the pregnancy or postpartum period. Some are confused as to who the father is, or they are congenital liars about the paternity. Others are jolted by unexpected competition in the achievement of their goals.

Most of the women in this category had related their distress to family, friends or health professionals, but their complaints were dismissed or not thoroughly addressed. For example, they were put on medications with no follow-up counseling. Clearly, there were plenty of warning signs in most cases. Often they engage in psychobabble and say things that are patently absurd or contradictory.
