U.N. Security Council imposes sanctions on Iran

The U.N. Security Council on Saturday unanimously imposed sanctions on Iran's trade in sensitive nuclear materials and ballistic missiles, in a move aimed at getting Tehran to halt uranium enrichment work.
At the last moment, Russia succeeded in deleting Iran's Aerospace Industries Organization, which produces missiles, but left three of its subsidiaries on the list.
Russia was also successful in scrapping a mandatory travel ban. Instead, the resolution now calls on states to notify a Security Council sanctions committee if any of the individuals on the list are in their countries."

We're all in a lot of trouble here. I realize I'm not coming down off the mountain with the tablets here. Meanwhile, libs are more concerned with SUV exhaust, trans fat bans and banning smoking. Talk about fiddling while Rome burns...
The last time we got a sanction against an Axis member a couple of months later, we are bombing.

I heard the USS George Washington & Carrier group will be arriving in the Persian Gulf in the next couple days. Wonder if their going to be busy?
