It must be nice to be able to wage war without "hearts and minds" concerns
I have a different version of hearts and minds. Shoot them in the heart and their minds will follow--and vice versa.
Great quote from Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi from earlier today:
"The only forces we are pursuing are Eritreans who are hiding behind the skirts of Somali women, and terrorist mujahideen,"
Ah yes, the good old days....
Of course you are correct. There are no great Islamic fighters, just idiot suicide bombers and backstabbers.
I believe the Ethiopians know how to deal with them if left alone.
They set off a car bomb. Th Ethiopians kill several dozen Muslims. It wont last long if doen correctly. In the end the brutality of it will lead to less loss of life.
Rest assured they'll be back and Ethiopia will pay dearly.
Ethiopia will be suing for peace in a year. The Islamic suicide bombers will hit the Ethiopian capital with a vengeance.
The Islamics have patience. They melt away and return when the fighting stops.
We knew this was going to happen- the Pro-Terror/Islam U.N wouldn't allow a defeat- hopefully the Ethio's will tell the U.N what they can do with their hand-wringing psuedo concern! http://sacredscoop.com
Just another black mark on the Clinton administration. Thank God for the Bush Doctrine.

And let em blend back into the civilian pop to fight next week? Eff that!
It's hard for a terrorist to 'melt away' if the standing orders are to eliminate any population group in which the terrorist might 'melt away' into...
Ethiopia really should offer the Hutus from Rwanda some 'Somali territory' for them to come in and 'deal' with the Islamic problem. Then annex Somalia, for it would finally give Ethiopia an ocean border.
Ethiopian troops have a reputation as fierce warriors.Sending a large contingent to Iraq would be effective, but any embedded reporters better have strong stomachs when they see those guys get down to business.
