Maybe it's my love of history. You see the places, talk to the people, and you recognize it's something built into them. You have to respect it for some reason. Perhaps it's in our genes to an extent. Something regal about it. We just don't have that here and never will, although enough worthless politicians have been elevated to a status they don't deserve. I've always been sort of irreverant toward elected officials so I see nothing special about them or their families. I'm not a monarchist but I can see something about the system that is special in a way that we just can't achieve.
