- Victor Davis Hanson, Real Clear Politics argued that the world of publicity-hungry Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is not expanding, but shrinking. Despite his supposedly populist credentials, his support at home and abroad will only further weaken as long as the United States continues its steady, calm and quiet pressure on him.
- Asharq Alawsat argued that what the Islamic Republic is doing in its confrontations with the West has been done before by many, from the Soviets, Qadaffi, Saddam, to name a few. He adds that the current Iranian policies will end in tragedy and that matters must be taken into fine consideration.
- The Times Online reported that Iran is more vulnerable to external pressure than outsiders tend to suppose.
Iran seeks to use the haj for political gain
- The Jerusalem Post reported that as the eyes of Muslims worldwide are directed toward Mecca - where ceremonies of the haj are held, the caretakers in Saudi Arabia are concerned with attempts by Iran to cause disturbances.
IRGC Commander: Enemies Fearful of Powerful Iran
- Fars News Agency, reported that the Commander in chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Brigadier General Safavi said that Iran plans to become the Middle East's number one economic, political and security pole adding that the enemies are fearful of Iran's becoming the region's superior power.
slamic regime official confesses to 100 illegal detention centers in Iran
- Iran Press News reported that the head of the prisons & corrections organization of Iran, admitted to the existence of detention centers that were not controlled by his organization.
U.S. Embassy Is Warning Beijing on Iran Gas Deal
- Eli Lake, The New York Sun reported that the Bush administration and Congress are warning that a proposed $16 billion deal between a Chinese company and Iran could trigger economic penalties under an American law aimed at starving Iran of funding for terrorism and nuclear weapons.

- Iran Press News reported that 3 years after the horrible Bam earthquake, the survivors of this disaster are still homeless and live in utter devastation. Based on admissions from the Islamic regime’s own media, the regime leaders have taken negligible measures to rebuild this destroyed city.
- Reform Party of Syria reported that Syrian armed forces arrested several mid to high ranking officers of the Syrian Armed Forces in Deir el-Zour, Idlib, Aleppo (The second largest city in Syria), and Hama in surprise, high visibility raids that netted tens of officers.

Very interesting - I think Iran is vulnerable. I recall that Jimmah Carter and Andrew Young thought that the Ayatollah was a great guy and "civil rights advocate" to boot! What a bunch of fools.
