Correct me if I'm wrong but Albania was never even occupied by the Germans.

The Germans invaded Albania in September of 1943, and were there until January of '45.

In the hopes of setting up an "independent" Albania, the Germans didn't prosecute their war on the Jews there, which makes Albania something of an anomaly in German occupied territories.

And here I was thinking this was just going to be so much wasted information.

Why not tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?

While the Jews of "Old Albania" were spared, nearly 300 Jews in Fascist Albania were arrested and likely transported into the Reich.

P.S. While Germany did not invade Albania until September, after the surrender of Italy, they had begun occupying key facilities as early as July.
