BTW, I am pretty sure that it was Maggie Williams who carried huge numbers of files from Vince Foster's office just after he died.

Don't get overly confident in her being defeated. The GOP is expert at pulling defeat out of the jaws of victory.

If they nominate some of the names that have been circulating, the GOP will hand victory to the Dems, whomever their nominee is.

"We are going to take things away from you...."

...that quote is from a socialist gathering in SF about 2 years ago. Even THAT crowd gasped when she said it. All the GOP has to do is advertise her college thesis (Making Socialism Work, or something like that) Replay the "take things away" soundbit over and over and play the footage of her and Bill when they first started flashing those "Universal Health Care" cards 13 years ago. That should do it!

I have been wondering if little Obama has ANY idea the size of the truck about to him him...Right now he is gliding along, floating on the cloud of media praise, but can he possibly be aware of the fact that the Clintons have no concept of "losing gracefully"? Let's start a pool- how long will it take for Hillarious and her "machine" to dig up any of the worst dirt they can find on Obama and even make stuff up and "leak" it? I have this funny picture in my head of a, formerly sanguine and self-congratulatory, political newbie suddenly confused and fighting off hordes of reporters who want the "REAL" story behind the latest "scandal". It's almost sad..but more, funny.

But he shouldn't worry- the b*&%ch will be oh-so-magnanimus, rehabilitate him and offer him the VP slot.

Any bets?

Wasn't 'Hillaryland' also the description of the real estate that her people occupied in the White House?

You know where the Vice President usually bases his operations from???

The funny part about all this is she is still going to lose.

I wouldn't bet on that.

She won't win in the sense of the receiving the majority of the votes of Americans. She won't even try to do that.

What she will try to do, and perhaps successfully, is to commit electronic vote fraud on a massive scale. Moving, say, a million votes from one column to another in Florida; 500,000 votes in Ohio; 100,000 votes in Missouri; and 50,000 votes in New Mexico should just about do the trick.

Those who say that Hillary can't win because she is too liberal/unlikeable/tainted or whatever are so hopelessly 20th century. The Clintons simply don't leave things up to the whims of the electorate. They create their own success through a variety of proactive steps including the outright manufacturing of the number of votes needed to claim victory and the elimination of anyone likely to voice any opposition to those tactics or even to suggest that such a thing could possibly be true.

her running is just about the best thing she could do for the GOP...

Friends of mine said the same thing about Bill Clinton. They were wrong. You are wrong.

Anyone who does not fear the Clintons is just not paying attention.

Her machine would nonetheless be tested early. Recent polls in New Hampshire and Iowa show Clinton would have stiff competition from two potential Democratic rivals, Illinois Sen. Barack Obama and former vice presidential candidate John Edwards.

Stiff competition? From Osama and the Breck Girl? Both of them are empty suit jokes.

"The challenge she'll have in the primaries is building something that's lean and supple, an operation that can turn on a dime," said Democratic pollster Geoffrey D. Garin.

Apparently the reporter forgot it is unkind to include The Hildabeaste, lean and supple in the same sentence.

She may run but she won't win. Too much baggage, too much divisiveness and a grating, shrill voice.

When the average American conjures up a mental image of the POTUS, I don't think they see The Hildabeaste.

"She could well win. If she does, then we deserve what we get."

Who was it that said that "we pretty much get the gov't we deserve"?

She was in charge of putting out bimbo eruptions when Bill was running. She will probably have the same job if Hillary runs. During that period of time Bill will have to stop dating or be more discreet.

Yeah, WE (the collective American people) get the Government we deserve. However, I am quite sure that I personally do NOT deserve Hillary as my president. That's the rub with democracy--the majority rules, no matter how big a bunch of retards they are.

I'm sure she's been though menopause by now. Lucky break for the terrorists. It would be curtains for them if they pulled something during her PMS cycle.

Well .. when you have 80 people die (under suspicious circumstances during the Clintons' eight years in office), people who were associated with you and your husband, it might put the fear of death in a lot of people who do not perform for the "tight ship". Remember, certain staff members found "the list" on their chair in their offices - as a warning.

And .. with people like Carville and McAwful supporting her .. I suspect the rules for the first 80 will apply to the next 80; as neither of these men has any ethics.

I agree she will lose .. and hopefully it will mean a BIG BIG BIG loss for the democrat party in total.

I'm reading a book by Jerry Zeifman, "Hillary's Pursuit of Power". Jerry was Chief Counsel of the House Judidicary Committee during the Nixon impeachment process. Hillary was one of the lawyers on his team. In this book he relates her unethical practices in violation of House Rules (while working on the Nixon impeachment). Jerry was also a consultant to a member of the Judiciary Committee during the Clinton impeachment, and he exposes the unethical practices of the Clinton WH. Jerry's conclusion, "Hillary Clinton is ethically unfit to be President".

This Clinton machine is a tighter ship.

Two comments.

1. I'm getting sick of how the leftist press admires how GOOD Slick and the Witch are at political spin. They don't care if they lie, as long as they are very good liars. They don't care if what they do is good, as long as they're good at doing it. Because what they want is for the Democrats to win, win, win! Then once again it will be cocktail time in DC for the leftist press and hollywood celebs.

2. Don't mix your metaphors even before you get to the damned article! What are they teaching in journalism school? Oh.

I'm afraid she could defeat McCain, Giuliani, Romney or any others now considered to be running.

I don't think she can beat Rudy, but otherwise I agree with you. Conventional wisdom is that McKook is the most electable Republican, but I think this is dead wrong. If he gets the nomination he will either self-destruct during the campaign or be destroyed by the media, which will focus on his age and health problems.
