Good morning, Beachie. I started watching President Ford's funeral just as they brought his casket out of the Capitol building. They showed that Nancy Reagan is attending the funeral. She looks very well.
I've got the picture on network TV but am listening on the Pentagon channel streaming broadcast. Don't need network commentary, if you know what I mean...
The procession is on the way to the National Cathedral now.

Have been watching it on FOX News Channel this morning and hearing lots of good history about that era. Learned a few things but was mostly reminded of things I already knew but had forgotten.
To: Aquamarine
I am the same way, Aqua. I forget things and need to be reminded. I was conscious during Ford's presidency...wasn't I?...;^)
The music at the Cathedral is quite majestic and beautiful. The Pentagon Channel is just letting it play, no commentary.
The hearse has just arrived...

That sounds like Txradioguy who is narrating the Pentagon Channel. He said he was going to be doing this.

Hi Luvy
Had a quiet New Year's Eve at home.
Today, I'm going to put some chili in the crock pot to simmer all day. Take a walk and then try to finish my new Dean Koontz book. Then have to start preparing stuff for going back to work tomorrow.
Have a wonderful day. Don't work too hard. I'll see you in the am.

Yes, I see Nancy. She does look good considering her age.
That's a good idea havimg the Pentagon channel broadcast. I do know what you mean about the other commentary. I was stewing about that earlier.
Now, I'm off to put some chili makings in the crock pot and take a quick walk. Got to get rid of some of the hoiday 'stuffings' if you know what I mean (wink). LOL

Are you feeling better?

Good morning, Mac
Windy this morning? I haven't really been outside.
A chilly morning as well. I am happy to see the sun this morning, especially after yesterday. Very dreary.
You went to work? Not in DC, I'm sure. Not much traffic, either, huh?
Have a good day.

I remember your plan for the new year, Beachy. *wink*
George H. W. Bush and Barbara Bush look uncommonly good also.
