Hey, I have no problem with Christian talk but did they have to throw out the baby with the bathwater? Ingraham and Medved are terrific and I listened to them all the time. By cancelling those two shows they are also cancelling out a lot of listeners including me.
Okay, so does anybody know when and where Laura Ingraham and Michael Medved will be reappearing in South Florida? Oh, and I hope the WKAT program manager is FIRED for his dopey programming of shutting these two out.

Like I said, I don't have a problem with Christian Talk on the radio. My BIG PROBLEM is over the fact they cancelled out two of the most popular shows in this area. I mean couldn't they have kept those shows and STILL have mostly Christian talk?
No, this is the cornerstone of Salem's Programming. And it's money maker. Dobson et al pay Salem big bucks to air on the Salem teaching stations.
In the radio business, the type of programming that the staiton is switching to is known as "pay to pray".

They must not have been ratings blockbusters. WKAT didn't show in the ratings.
To me its known as "boring." They couldn't have had just mostly Christian talk? Instead they tossed out two of the best talk radio shows in South Florida. Hopefully WIOD radio here will toss out Glenn Beck and Tod Schnitt for Ingraham and Medved in the same time slots.
Ingram maybe. They've been tossing Beck in a lot of markets and replacing with Ingram or local. (WIOD's parent company). I doubt Medved will make the line up.
Glenn Beck is almost unlistenable. He does the same basic shtick every day. BOOOOORRRRING. As for Medved, he is waaay better than Todd Schnitt in the same time slot on WIOD.

Yeah, such a MINOR detail to protest about. I mean I only listen to Laura Ingraham and Michael Medved every day at 9 and 3. So now I should just be happy to listen static in its place?
I believe both of the programs are streamed in multiple places.
If Medved and Ingraham are high rating shows they will be picked up by competing stations. In the meantime, just listen to them on the internet.

I'm usually out and about at those times so streaming doesn't help me.
