Isn't that one of the reasons Bill Cosby faces such animosity from black audiences? He was so successful, they just can't believe he has anything meaningful to say to them? (Poor man, he has to be one of the bravest people I know.) He's trying to help them and they hate him.
I admire your courage, too! I have known very few black people in my life that would ever talk about the violence problems in the black community with any frankness.
You are correct, also some people just don't like to hear the truth. I think that is the biggest issue some have with Bill Cosby. I am happy Bill Cosby is speaking up.
