In 1972 my husband bought a Chevy Camaro Z 28 for $3400! He bought it on leave then drove it back down to Ft. Benning, GA where he was stationed. He was a happy man!

"a song not played on KLIF or KBOX and I thought it was so cool, kinda like learning about a foreign culture. :)"
And then KBOX went country. Jimmy Rabbit had it all to himself... but the rest of us listened to Library of Laffs on WRR.

Do you remember Lamb Chop, the puppet? What was the name of the blond woman who was his side kick? Sherri Lewis?Shari Lewis. My dad worked with her father, which I thought was way cool.

Only three TV channels, and one newspaper all controlled by the same libtard cabal, all parroting the same libtard lies. Those of us with a brain knew Walter Crankcase was a liar, the rest, they just looked in the Sunday newspaper before the election and voted the way the newspaper said.

I saw the lyrics to "Louie, Louie" in the newspaper about 7 years ago. There was mention of how everyone thought that the lyrics were dirty -- I know my girlfriends and I did. But the words were actually quite respectable.

I can sing it with great, great teenage angst and *feeling* after much mirror practice!
(dramatic) *Sole ... djur ... Boy ...
Oh, my little sole - djur boy ... (da-da-dum) ...
I'll be trooooo tooooo you!
You were my first love
And you'll be my last love ...
I will never make you blue ...
I'll be true to you!
In the whole world,
You can love but one girl ...
Let *me* be that one girl ...
For I'll be true to you!
Wherever you go ...
My-y heart will follow ...
I love you so ...
I'll be true to you!
Take my love with you
To any port or foreign shore!
Darling, you must feel for sure
That I'll be true to you!
(more drama) Sole ... djur ... Boy!
Oh, my little sole - djur boy ... (da-da-dum) ...
I'll ... be ... trooooo ... tooooo ... yoooo!

Yeah, Shari Lewis. I have a little mini - Lamb Chop even now. Loved the way her eyelashes went when she was "smiling" and Shari was bunching up her hand to make the lashes kind of flutter.
