Protesters occupy Matsui's office-They want her to vote against legislation that finances the Iraq

Rep. Doris Matsui's Sacramento office has become a battleground in the Iraq war.
Anti-war protesters occupied her office for a third day Wednesday, even though she opposes the war and President Bush's plan to send more troops.
The protesters want her to act on her opposition by vowing to vote against spending bills that fund the war. That's something she won't do, Matsui said. She said it could further endanger troops there.
"I have the utmost reluctance to embrace policies that increase the dangers any further," she said.
The response didn't soothe John Reiger, one of eight or nine protesters who showed up at Matsui's office Wednesday.
"That's not what we want," he said.
The protest in Matsui's office underscores the pressure Democrats are facing as they take control of Congress. Many voters who helped elect Democrats to office in their sweeping November victory did so because of their opposition to the Iraq war, and they want action -- not promises.
Bush's plan to send 20,000 more troops because of escalating violence has them irate. But there's not much congressional Democrats can do except pass toothless resolutions of opposition. The one bold step they can take under the Constitution is to cut funding, but that makes Democrats vulnerable to charges they are abandoning troops there.
Even Sen. Barbara Boxer, D- Calif., perhaps the most liberal member of the Senate, said Tuesday she doesn't favor that.

The 'Rat coalition is house of cards. No matter what they do, they're going against the wishes of 30% to 50% of the coalition.

For all our frustration with Bush and Republicans, just think of how frustrated the moonbats must be. They can't do a darn thing to change anything, even when they're in power! Sucks to be them!

John is about to find out the hard way that his preposterous assertions of how the US treats felonious dissenters is completely wrong.

And Mitch McConnell plans to prevent even that. LOL

Those who refuse to support and defend a state have no claim to protection by that state.
Killing an anarchist or a pacifist should not be defined as "murder" in a legalistic sense.
The offense against the state, if any, should be "Using deadly weapons inside city limits," or "Creating a traffic hazard," or "Endangering bystanders," or other misdemeanor.

Give them a cup of coffee (starbucks or some other known brand) and sit them down to talk awhile amongst themselves. If they don't go away toward twilight, lock them in after it is time for the offices to close; then having secured the silverware and such, turn out the lights, lock the bathrooms, interfere with cell phone conversations, and tell the custodial people they have a night off without pay because their "betters" need a place to p**s and s**t this particular evening.

They are all moonbats, three of which have run on weird third party platforms.
Folks that crossed the line to vote Democrat (or stayed home)
didn't fully understand that they were actually casting votes for
these looney-tunes.
Because...sooner or later the elected Democrats will listen to these
loud-mouthed folks. Not the silent masses that elected them.

When the Dems can't make progress aginst the war in Iraq in the public forums of debate, they activate their 5th column leakers in the CIA, and State Department. Then programs that make Iraq Victory possible are traduced.
I am curious whether President Bush will tolerate another New York Slimes article which puts the specter of death to CIA and Specail Ops field agents involved in intel gathering activities?
I hope President Bush finally goes after the leakers, and starts by indicting New York Slime Reporters, and rolls their little scummy network up.
Apparently the FBI has been stymied in its investigations into the many leaks, some of which have caused the deaths of several operatives over the last four years.
