I live in Vegas, born here, and am moving out of the county in a couple months for reasons like this in many areas.. but I do not understand your use of the term "Cashcow". While unconstitutional, a PITA and scary, registration of your handgun in las vegas costs nothing but about 15 minutes at the local copshop substastion. I think the better result of the bill being passed would be the elimination of the north las vegas and boulder city bans on open carry or carry in your personal vehicle, and to once and for all (hopefully) end the threat of statewide registration.

Just my $.02, YMMV

My information has been that "registration" involves a fee of $15 per gun.

I avoid LV, and have never registered anything there, so I may have been misinformed as to the cost.
Waiting in line to have my rights violated does not appeal to me, even if it's free.
