Helen, look out.
It does seem to be an expensive jackalope hunt.

I think the term is Snipe Hunt.

Bigfoot was always in the news in the 70s.
Probably cause of the TV show, Six Million Dollar man.
Andre the Giant played Big Foot.
Bigfoot was like UFO's back then.
I haven't heard much about it since.
To: FLOutdoorsman
Bigfoot lives in Oklahoma, I know because I saw it on the History Channel (or was it the Travel channel?)

Here is a real nice website that has mapped some of the bigfoot sightings. You need Google Earth.

Also, for the NW part of America: I dunno the Demographics of the Bigfoots, or if they voted for Kerry in the 04' election.

Cool map!
Don't they call it a skunkape in your neck of the woods?

"You also need to know the various types of sounds they make, and how to provoke them into making those sounds, to both confirm their presence and lure them toward you."
But don't find out about the sounds made by adult black bear--especially when they're watching you from slightly higher elevations. That would spoil your fun.
Woof!

What is the correct plural for bigfoot? Bigfeet? Bigfoots?

I just stick with Bigfoot for one, and Bigfoots for plural. I don't wanna offend anyone(Bigfoot).
