"Global Warming Dissenters Few At US Weather Meeting"

Of course they weren't invited, but we won't talk about that.

LOL! I just went to read the story and found this:

It's a bunch of cooling towers and that's steam coming off them! They're trying to convey an image that big energy is trashing the planet with tons of pollution.

Of course no one at the conference can argue that the physical mechanisms identified that do have an effect on Earth's surface temps don't exist. None of them can argue that the effect can be significant also. Even by 2060, when a predicted 550ppmv CO2, ~0.34% increase in the Earth's atmospheric energy content and a ~1oC temp increase occurs.

Global warming is a con job perpetrated by the leaftists to grab control of the energy supply and it's use.

The fact is that the Earth has been going through warming adn cooling cycles since it came into being. Evidence indicates that the medieval warming period was warmer than today. It was followed by a cooling period during the Renaissance.

And BTW, the polar ice caps are melting.

On Mars.

"Several scientists and writers interviewed at the society's conference, which ends on Thursday, stressed that most researchers believe there is little scientific debate about the causes of global warming."

Good jobs folks. 10,000 more carbon credits in your market accouts!

It is so ridiculous. We are all geting freezing in places other than normal. I can't understand why we sit out here and take this baloney. I would even be more tempted to believe these are signs of the end of times than to believe in this bull. At least a sign of end of times makes some sense.

The fanaticism and close-mindedness of global warmists is totally contrary to the spirit of scientific inquiry.

When people finally realize how over-hyped it is; the alarmists will claim credit for "beating global warming" -- because they convinced everyone to switch from incandescent to florescent light bulbs.

Recently in Alaska a park ranger mentioned that Mendenhall glacier (Juneau) has been impacted by global warming for the last 250 years.

Q: In Washington state, the #1 polluter is very famous, won't pay any fines, and is totally uncontrollable...

It's not Microsoft, the federal government or even Boeing...

Exactly why is the worlds biggest polluter allowed to sign Kyoto but is completely free of all aspects of the Kyoto protocol and its wealth transfer scheme, is it because they are Communists?
