I think the money would be better spent on a radio/television network. Less govt interference. More influence on political outcomes. Maybe some profits too.
Most of all, no risk of spoiling and throwing the election to the Democrats.

I agree, I'm thinking it's time to start a new revolution. Unless this nation turns around, and quick, we're in for trouble. It's a shame, though, that we have to save this nation from ourselves.

That is what I am proposing with a small but significant difference: The Free Republic Party would not be against any other party (we want their votes), it would be FOR the things which need to happen to change the current situation and against those ideas which will not solve our problems.

Splitting what's left of the Republican party is a sure path on a suicide mission leading to a permanent RAT/COMMIE party in power.

He's trying very hard in his opening post here to pass himself off as a staunch conservative, but his homepage tells a different story.

I do not pretend to have what Teddy had but maybe this effort will produce someone who comes close.

We could start at the top , the presidency. Let the two antiquated parties fight over congress for now. The president would be dead in the water if we left Congress to the RATS and RINOS! He would get nothing accomplished and people would not want to reelect him. I have wanted to start a new party for a long time because I'm very dissatisfied with the GOP and of course, the RATS are pure evil. IMO, we need to go for broke and have our candidates for all positions. Who knows, by the time that happens, maybe people will be ready and toss all the traitors out of office.

Yes, I read your bio. I've also read what you've posted to this ridiculous vanity.
Though I thank you for your military service, you are a nothing and a nobody, who can't even follow the simple posting rules of FR ( you posted this garbage to news, of all places ); yet, you want to start at the top...running for president.
Have you any idea how many fringe parties already exist in America? I doubt that you do.
You've never held run for, let alone held elected office, you aren't the all exalted hero of a world or civil war, and you neither know nor understand politics.
You might get a teensy bit of support, here, but it will come from KOOKS, who like you, don't know nor understand much of anything about history, politics, and government. Balkanizing an already some what fractured group, does one thing and one thing only.....hand elections and power over to the Dems.
America was set up to NOT have a parliamentary system, exactly so that there would not be a myriad of lumpen fringe parties. It is ONLY in a parliamentary system that coalitions work. Like it or not, America is a TWO MAJOR PARTY system, where either a Dem or a GOPer wins.
Where do you fall short? ROTFLOLPIMP...in EVERY single possible category imaginable; with perhaps two exceptions...your age and the fact that you were born in America. And IF those were the ONLY vital requirements, I would be a better candidate than YOU would ever be, but I would never presume to imagine doing what you have just done here, which makes me even better than you!
And then there is the little fact that you are using and abusing a forum, not your own, to promote yourself and an idea that the owner of this site decries. That is also a BIG mark against you.
And no, none of what I just said was a personal attack; I merely answered your questions and stated some salient facts, which you appear to be not only completely aware of, but which you should have already known.
