Read her announcement -- she is on another one of those "listening" tours! LOL

Yes.

We're in for twenty or so months of her fortress of paid operatives, private investigators, various and assorted fixers and enforcers, softball media hosts, the sycophantic and protective old lying Marxist media, loads of screened audiences, and as you say, the virtual ubiquity of meaningless listening tours.

Gotta sing at church this morning but got a doozy of a tale for you folks.

I submitted an article for the Sussex Country Republican Women's Club's newsletter. I had been asked to take over this newsletter, something I am frankly not all that enthusiastic about as I'd prefer blogging. But I like to do my share, as it were.

So my little 150 word article got REJECTED!

Hey, I'm used to rejection, being a writer and everything, but damn, my piece was just a little nothing fluff of prose that wouldn't harm a fly.

And yet it became the cause celebre from the local chapter all the way up to the national association of Republican women's clubs and go on, what a supreme waste of time.

Know what I did wrong? Heh. I mentioned the sanctity of life. The "theme" was "how women can make a difference" and hey, one of my sentences was something to the affect "women understand the value of life in the womb". I'll post it in its entirety later but giving a synopsis here. I mean I didn't go on like a religious zealot and I didn't even mention the word "abortion".

But the little piece was an "editorial" as my accusers called it, and too "controversial".

The GOP candidate who ran against Mike Castle last election, a lackluster Jan Ting, REFUSED to committ to his feelings on abortion. Thus most of the disenchanted Repubs in this very blue state switched over to an independent candidate, one Christine O'Donnell. Who is now a Fox news pundit, by the way.

The Republicans in this state of Delaware are NOT conservatives, ladies and gems. Delaware, where even the GOP women are not allowed to talk about the value of life in the womb.

It's disgusting. And you will not believe what a big damn deal they made over my little 150 word piece. Sure it's an editorial, what the hell did they want for a 150 words...the Gettysburg address?

But hey, no editorials in the GOP women's newsletter. Can't risk alienating Delaware's liberals and baby murderers.

Will get back at you all later, after church.

Got a meeting with these ladies this upcoming week and looking for wise advice on how to handle this.

Agreed. And, Sandy Berger with her as her foreign policy and terrorism consultant, along with Wesley Clark to help her with military advice. (What a team!)

So many words have been used to describe Hillary's road to power that I've been thinking of the one word that would encompass them all. My choice is Calculating (in the pejorative sense).

This same-o week after week after week gets mighty old.

Yeah, that hit me years ago. I used to be devoted to This Week with David Brinkley, but I haven't watched any of these shows since then. I don't even know why I'm reading this thread about the shows, I'm not going to watch.

I am going to watch Reliable Sources at 10 est to see blogger Dan Riehl take on serial assaultist, barking moonbat Mark Stark.

Calculating is exactly right. Never utter a word from the heart. Think, think, think even how loud to laugh. So, it always comes out phony if it doesn't come out from the heart.

I would say five words:

Threats, intimidation, narcissism, ruthlessness, and networking.

Per Timmy, MoveOn.org is a liberal democratic group, NOT a bunch of left wingers. Just liberal, dontcha know.

This whole opening segment on MTP is all about how dumb and duplicitous George Bush is. It's a train wreck in Iraq according to McCain, and Timmy is obviously continuing his efforts to get us to lose this thing.

ABC's this week makes into nuggets.

This sunday's Media Nuggets

###### Candidned Camera moment! - “Walk and Talk” on camera with President Bush in rural North Carolina. After a few minutes, Mr. Bush observed, with some glee, “Man, you’re sweating.” - that was George Stephanopoulos. Indeed, Mr. Stephanopoulos had begun perspiring so profusely that he was forced to retreat inside a giant refrigerator at a cafeteria near where the conversation was taking place, before continuing.

###### Stubborn, Defiant Media -> on Iraq. Even Fox News, so often cartooned as the rosy-news channel, had a ratio of 30 percent negative stories to 20 percent positive.

###### Associated with terrorists Press Holds Pity Party for Deported Terror Sympathizer. Deported imam rejected by 72 nations had nowhere to turn.

###### Paging NARAL & Planned Parenthood! - "Being pregnant is such a romantic time in a woman's life. There is so much love and support that surrounds a pregnant woman.", says Fox 's Alisyn Camerota.

###### Bogus Associated with democrats Press story - debunked by the New Media.

###### Network wars - As NBC adds 4-th hour to Today show, ABC is planning to add 3-rd hour to GMA. Meanwhile, NBC hires John Yang - who was fired from ABC a week before. While ABC's GMA was courting "Fox tested" Tiki Barber, NBC's Today grabbed him. Larry King says Fox News is a Republican brand.

###### Ins, Outs.... - Anne Kornblut, who NYTimes assigned to cover Mrs.Clinton jumps to Wash.Post. Jed Babbin becomes the Editor of Human Events magazine. Time Magazine signs up Conservative Richard Brookhiser in addition to Bill Kristol. Meanwhile, Andrew Sullivan is OUT from Time. CNN after Glenn Beck's rating success, is piloting Philly Radio Talk Show Host Michael Smerconish for a future unnamed show. "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?" is the new Fox Reality Show.

###### Katie Couric upset that no one else wearing a skirt @ WH during anchors meet-up with the Prez.

###### When "reporting" lack facts, sell it as fiction. Wash. Post's Web site is publishing fiction for the first time, serializing a novel written by Wash.Post' business reporter David Hilzenrath (whose doom & gloom reportage on economy flopped).

###### Washington Post to Partner with The Onion , REALLY!

###### Wash.Post's choice of American Hero - The Man in your Garbage! So we call 'em Washington ComPost!

###### Hilarious! - Hannity and the Homeless.

###### Blloodbath @ Time! - Casualties Nearly 300 Jobs. People Magazine is shutting down its bureaus in Washington, Miami, Chicago and Austin, Texas. Time and Sports Illustrated also expected staff layoffs. Time, the company’s flagship magazine, is also cutting more than 40 people, and is shutting down bureaus in Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta. 7 positions in its Washington bureau are being eliminated. Newspaper Guild calls it "Unmerciful Axe"!

###### Philadelphia Inquirer Editor seeing a therapist! - Reason? More work, smaller paychecks, disappearing pensions, reduced workforces, redefined job descriptions are all realities of today's newspaper business. Employees who start to feel the "pressure to perform" .

###### After Colbert debacle last year, Comedian and impersonator Rich Little is chosen for this year's WH Correspondents' Association Dinner.

I got a good laugh yesterday when one freeper analyzed the symbolism of everything in the Hillary video and another freeper replied, "So her campaign is being run by out-of-work English Lit. majors." LOL

'Triangulation' is the act of a candidate presenting his or her ideology as being "above" and "between" the left and right sides of the political spectrum. A related term is third way politics.

The GOP have taken 'triangulation' to a new level, which I call 'strangulation'.

'Strangulation' is the act of a GOP candidate presenting his or her idealogy as being "abhorrent" and "baffling" to the right side of the political spectrum. A related term is RINO politics.

Bullseye!

It works in New York. We'll see if it works in the rest of the country. I'll bet it will. The MSM will see to it.
