"..."I've seen some of the planning ... You're not talking about a surgical strike," said Wayne White, who was a top Middle East analyst for the State Department's bureau of intelligence and research until March 2005. "You're talking about a war against Iran" that likely would destabilize the Middle East for years, White told the Middle East Policy Council, a Washington think tank. "We're not talking about just surgical strikes against an array of targets inside Iran. We're talking about clearing a path to the targets" by taking out much of the Iranian Air Force, Kilo submarines, anti-ship missiles that could target commerce or U.S. warships in the Gulf, and maybe even Iran's ballistic missile capability, White said.
"I'm much more worried about the consequences of a U.S. or Israeli attack against Iran's nuclear infrastructure," which would prompt vigorous Iranian retaliation, he said, than civil war in Iraq, which could be confined to that country.
President George W. Bush has stressed he is seeking a diplomatic solution to the dispute over Iran's nuclear program..."

The talkin' is about over, and the killin's about to begin. It might be a good idea to count the number of mosques in your neighbourhoods, note their locations (the FBI does), then stay well armed and safe. We'll probably find out what the muzzies in the USA have been storing in them.

We know they store guns, ammo, and explosives in the mosques in other Countries. ................ FRegards

Or, as I love to call him, AhMAD-in-jihad. Good graphics, p & P.

These ex-State weenies aren't too bright. Here he says we will totally dismantle Iran's military and then claims they would mount a vigorous retaliation.

With what, Wayne?

Yeah, well, the maroons in state at least got the first part almost right. It's Potomac fever - they just gotta keep talking.

And I agree - the SOTU speech would be perfect! Pelousi and Reid would need colostomy bags afterwards. Stay well .............. FRegards

What happened to the rule that the US is only prepared to fight two wars at a time... or in two areas, however it has been said. Isn't our plate already full with Iraq and Afghanistan?

And... isn't it true that we always have contingency plans... don't we have war plans drawn up in case we need to invade Antiqua?

Does this actually signify anything?
