Barack Obama was given a rude awakening to the cut-throat world of presidential politics yesterday after being accused of hiding four years in which he was educated at a madrassa when a teenager.
The claim, made in the conservative Insight magazine, also revealed the Machiavellian scheming of political activists in a presidential race still nearly two years away.
It was aimed at tarnishing Mr Obama’s image in the week he announced himself as a White House contender. But the article also claimed that the madrassa allegations came from aides to Hillary Clinton, Mr Obama’s main opponent for the Democratic nomination. ...
But the Insight allegations represent an exquisite double shot at the Democrats’ two leading White House contenders: it implies that Mr Obama, whose middle name is Hussein, is a closet Islamic extremist, and that Mrs Clinton is so rattled by his candidacy she is using underhand tactics to weaken him.
Mr Obama...claims were “not accurate”.
The online article begins: “Are the American people ready for an elected president who was educated in a madrassa as a young boy and has not been forthcoming about his Muslim heritage?” It continues: “This is the question Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s camp is asking about Senator Barack Obama.”
Mr Obama’s mother was a white woman from Kansas; his father, a black Kenyan Muslim. He states in his recent biography that he attended a predominately Muslim school when he lived in Jakarta as a teenager.
But the article claims: “In Indonesia, the young Obama was enrolled in a madrassa and was raised and educated as a Muslim.” It says that Mr Obama omitted to say in his memoir, or at any other time, that he attended the school for four years....

No, he was educated at a fairly secular high school. He became radicalized in university, under the tutelage of Sayyed Qutb's brother and Azzam. It's possible he attended a madrasa before he entered the Al-Thager Model School, but unlikely; his family's business was business, not religion.

Islam states, without exception, that ISLAMIC LAW is the law above all others, and that it should be implimented EVERYWHERE. No law supercedes it, on earth or heaven.
Unlike Judeo-Christian beliefs that accept the law of man and the law of God are seperate entities, and to "give unto ceasar what is his" Islam makes absolutely NO SUCH ACCEPTANCE.
There is no seperation of the law/rules to save your soul, and the law/rules that govern society. No one who is a Muslim can be trusted in a position of power or lawmaking ability for this reason alone (there are pleanty of others, but this one in particular is enough).
If one follows the tenants of Islam, when one has the power to make the laws, those laws will be made to subjugate to Sharia Law....
The leftists around the world are IDIOTS, they are the ones saying ignore this reality and accept... yet their "lifestyles" will ensure they are some of the first that get their head lopped off by the Muslim hordes.

Shiites and Sunnis fight over the stupidest things, but killing someone for something stupid is pretty much the way of Islam.
Lets face it, one of the bigger points of contention between these two is that one allows a pleasure marriage, and the other doesn't... For those not familiar, its effectively a one night stand/prostituion, where a couple are wed, souly for the sake of copulation/pleasure, and then the man immdiately divorces the woman, which under Islam is nothing more than vocally saying you divorce them 3 times I believe.
Islam is not peaceful, never has been, never will be.. it is fundamentally incapable of "peace" by the modern western worlds definition of the word. The only peace that comes with Islam is the peace of domination, not coexistence.
