Malachy, who officials said was stateless..........they didnt know what country he came from?
I've enjoyed visiting Singapore but always found it a bit sterile. OTOH, stories like this make me really appreciate the place. However, the country is responsible for that crap called Tiger beer.
That must explain why Thai sticks have been darn near impossible to get for the last 30 years.

It was very much the same situation with the American school in Malaysia a while back.
The 24 hour warning to get out of dodge saved many a skin.
Luckily, both sides never got into a public situation where an example would have had to be made of someone.
As you probably know, what happens behind the scenes is often far more interesting than what gets reported.
