Global warming is NOT being caused by humans. It's only a consensus by those who wish to use it to manipulate the masses in to voting for an some democrat idiot. Global warming is a cyclical occurrence.

If our country ever adopts legislative policy that embodies language supportive of the eco-nuts views, I'll personally start burning coal in my back yard just to keep the air permeated with progress.

Unfortunnately, democracies are run more by propaganda then by legislators.

Promote, then, as an object of primary importance, institutions for the general diffusion of knowledge. In proportion as the structure of Government gives force to public opinion, it is essential that public opinion should be enlightened.
- WASHINGTON: Farewell Address.

"In our system, the press has the role of..." Generations of journalists spoke confident sentences like that. The press is a vital check on power. It's quasi-Constitutional. Bush, head of government, rejects this idea. That theory has gone down, he says. And you guys don't have that kind of muscle anymore". I can't agree with Bush on this one. If he were right he'd have an 80% approval rating.

From its earliest days, the government has feared the power of an unchecked press. As World War II photographer Jimmy Hare said, "Photographs seem to be the only thing the War department is really afraid of (Neuman, 82)" -- and the visceral and ubiquitous nature of television, once it was a significant component in war journalism, was no different.

America can no longer fight a war of attrition. It can no longer censor propaganda that will destroy the will of the people to fight. During the war, the OWI was also responsible for creating propaganda to rally the homefront around the fighting. "

"Kyoto is essentially a socialist scheme to suck money out of wealth-producing nations," Harper's letter reads.

Bump!

Yeah, but Arnie is scheduled to go see Harper soon.
Let's hope he doesn't "straighten him out".

Not exactly. They international bankers behind this ruse want to use "carbon taxes" to fund investments abroad, selling technologies from companies they hold, financing infrastructure to improve the profitability of factories abroad, etc.

Canadians should enjoy their country while they "own" it. By the year 2020, it will be a Muslim country, building forces to invade the northern states of the U.S.

Thems fightin' words there buddy.......

Kyoto is dead anyway. The "Earth Charter" is all the rage now. Heck, Gorbachev helped write it, it must be good.

Kyoto is about implementing the economic and social objectives of Agenda 21 and will not in any way reduce carbon emissions. The sooner people wake up to this fact the better. Then perhaps the world can get on with reducing pollution - whatever the source. And it is about time third world countries stopped overpopulating.

A plan adopted by a UN Conference in the early 1990s. Maurice Strong was in charge. The essence of Agenda 21 is that environmental improvement involves a transfer of wealth from the developed to the developing world. One point is that you won't resolve overpopulation in third world countries until you liberate women and provide them with new economic opportunities. Then they will have options other than childbearing. The underlying assumption is that the first world is responsible for pollution and must therefore carry the cost. Hence countries such as China and India are exempt under Kyoto.
