SF Mayor's Campaign Manager Quits, Following Affair Allegation (Mayor Newsom doing his wife)

SAN FRANCISCO -- In the midst of an election year, Mayor Gavin Newsom's campaign manager Alex Tourk has announced that he will step down from his post.

SFGate.com reported Tourk resigned after confronting Newsom for allegedly having an affair with his wife, Ruby Rippey-Tourk.

The admission from Rippey-Turke came as part of a rehabilitation program she has been undergoing for substance abuse, according to sources to the paper.

Newsom refused to comment on the report, according to NBC11.

Rippey-Tourk, 34, was the mayor's appointments secretary at the beginning of his administration in 2004. She worked for the mayor until the spring of 2006, according to the paper.

"It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the Newsom campaigns and the city of San Francisco and its residents," Tourk said in a statement.

Divorce in California is a by-the-numbers proposition. Lawyers can plug the facts into a computer program and come within a few bucks of what the final award will be. Doesn't matter whether it's San Francisco or San Bernardino, the same fact set produces the same result.

Ruby Rippey-Tourk, now there's a goofy name. Newsome was married the the hot guilfoyle, they divorced, she got knocked up by some dude and married him. I always thought it was a job requirement that a person had to be gay to be mayor of san fran.

As a former SF'er and who LOVES gossip, innuendo and rumors, I will repost these UNCONFIRMED RUMORS.

*Guilfoyle was/is a druggie and was cheating on Gavin.

*Gavin is into all kinds of younger women, some are allegedly "underage", and he's a total playboy playing the field - waitresses, etc.

Again, I have no idea if any of this is true. This is just what I heard, and I'm only repeating it.
