Nice try, but McGovern was far worse than Carter and Klinton. Thank God he was not elected.

But then theres always the "if we knew then what we know now" spin.

The intelligence on global warming wasn't accurate or we were misled and some scientists lied, would be skerrys take on why he voted against before he would now vote for Kyoto.

Tell the Whole Truth Without Posturing or Spinning

If he were to do this he'd never say anything...not that that is a bad thing.
OTOH Stupid people have the right to make themselves heard.

I agree. McGovern would have made the worst president in American history. He would have even been worse than Carol Moseley Braun, in my opinion. Perhaps if he ran today a dumbed down electorate and a little cheating here and there would take him to the white house.

Kerry has said that our soldiers were "terrorizing" Iraqi civilians in their homes. He has also warned that uneducated Americans "get stuck in Iraq" -- a supposedly botched joke. Now, he assures an audience at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, that the United States is a "sort of international pariah."

I would say Kerry's lower than pond scum, but would be unfair to pond scum...

Kerry's criticisms are hauntingly similar to al-Qaida's own talking points...

From a distance it looks like, "birds of a feather".

That little description skips over a great number of things. He was essentially America's first liberal.

I was pointing out the prevalence of similar sounding C's and K's among the mix. Granted the M's would have been terrible, but we managed to dodge the bullet with them, and they had the good grace to STFU after losing.

With Karter and Kerry we have very bitter old men who feel (rightly so) that the American voting public rejected them. If they would just look at their records and listen to themselves they would know why.

VDH makes a great synopsis of Kerry. . .

No question, by his offering up of America as a pariah; Kerry is attempting to distinguish - separate - himself from America the Abominable. Kerry surely imagines himself as heroic; as he insinuates his 'oneness' with his European peers. (If only there were medals for insecurity. . .)

Kerry's condemnation marks him as incapable of any and all decent judgments. His 'heroic' is in truth; a wretched weakness. This man is delusional; imagining himself a 'man in full' when in fact; he could not suffer more emptiness.

(And please. . .neither can we. . .)

I suspect that even the 'Frogs' see a real toad here. And suspect the rest of his peers see at least, the empty suit; the toad left behind.
