She probably thinks that she'll be President before the year is out, thanks to Plamegate...the hard left thinks that Cheney's notes prove Bush was criminally involved in the effort to diss St. Joe Wilson, and of course Cheney is even more closely connected because he was Libby's boss.

I say strap her in the backseat of an F18 and commence aerial combat manuevering. She'd either fill up her mask and pass out or pull the handle.

Wasn't it San Francisco that banned the ROTC and military recruiters? It was also turned down for a warship commissioning ceremony. Yeah san fran nan, that city is really going to like those military flights landing there.

Yes! Great catch!

I bet if you looked, you could find something nasty Nancy said about the military back during those times!

Just what kind of service does the Queen of Market Street think she is going to get on a military aircraft?

Paratrooper training without a parachute??

I did an FR search for "san francisco ban" and came up with this result.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/search?s=san+francisco+ban&ok=Search&q=quick&m=any&o=score&SX=45c2029adf8887956165d05480294e481d6ebb48

I know there was a thread here last year that had something about her insulting the military. Too many threads to check for today.

First thought I had was it would be acceptable for her to use the planes for flights. Then reality struck.

Can you imagine the delays, the ass kissing that the crews would have to start doing. I can just picture her telling the crew to wait until her friends got there. Or even a family member trying to hold up the flight.

Just think of the implications little delays like this could cause x 535 members of congress x (how ever many relatives they let on the planes). It could really stall our military Airlift Command.

THis would be abused and it would degrade our military.

Sure, she can take a MAC but she needs to be warned up front that they don't serve lobster or wine.

Since Nancy feels such compassion for our military, I say let her fly a P-3 mission out of NAS Brunswick, ME, on the way back to San Francisco. Preflight is at 0200 on the ramp in horizontal snow with a wind chill of -35 F (a P-3 pref;ight takes 4 hours). Then let her fly the 12-hour mission at low-level in level 3 turbulence in an airplane that is kept at 50 F to keep the elctronics cooled. Throw-in a lot of 60-degree angle bank turns at 200 feet above the waves (typical MAD tracking pattern) and a standard Navy meal of a spam and cheese sandwich on Wonder Bread, one baked pterodactyl wing, one hard-boiled egg, and two chiclets, all washed-down with quince-flavored fruit juice. Make sure the urinal is full and that there are no bags for the crapper. Have her share a barf-bag with the SS3 operator. After landing at 1800 at NAS Point Mugu, one hour post-flight in driving rain, followed by three hour debrief at the ASWOC. Then ride the base garbage truck from the ramp back to the plywood BOQ, from which she can get her limo to SF.

This comes under the category, "If you give them an inch, they will take a mile." If this beotch gets this perk, watch out -- there will be no stopping her.

Why does not the Air force require her to fly the plane.

As Speaker, she should have access to military planes, for the reasons Hastert said he had them. It's not unreasonable.

The current Democrat party line is that the President exaggerated the threat of terrorism to pursue his own agenda and that the threat of domestic terrorism is practically nil. Yet here is the Democrat Speaker of the House claiming that the threat of domestic terrorism is so pervasive that not only does she need access to special military flights for her routine travel needs; her staff, her relatives, and the entire California delegation need it too. Someone needs to ask her: "So which is it? Is there a significant threat of domestic terrorism or not?"

Heck, flying 'Space-A' is its own 'reward'.

I don't think she's planning on flying 'Space-A.'

Actually she and her family and band of a$$ kissers need to see the empire she thinks she rules.....from a good ole Huey...100 kts across America....with more than a few fuel stops....well maybe the Army could upgrade her to a UH-60...slightly faster...and slightly fewer fuel stops. Nothing to good for the empress in waiting...
