All of the so-called dark horse or undeclared candidates are more pro-life, and more conservative all the way around, than the three front runners.

I hope that changes after the debates.

Brownback said 75% of the people are against partial-birth abortion, and each child is sacred and beautiful.

Brownback has NO EXCEPTIONS, and he told Sean, in cases of rape, the child is innocent.

I agree!

Ding dong alert. We can't call her a witch these days but the aging matron has had a most unfortunate accident.

Yes, I do feel just peachy. That’s because I’ve had a howlingly good week. The sun is shining. The birds are singing. The flowers are all in bloom. It’s a zippety-do-dah day!

Ordinary German citizens who thought that could not live with freedom.

I have a book on that. A little further to the right of them lies two children who they killed before they offed themselves. They look to be around 6 and 8 years old.

Another good pro-life question to vote for, so it has a better chance of being asked in the GOP debate on Thursday:

“by bigo8479 on 04.21.2007 at 02:23 PM
Question is for: Duncan Hunter
Topic Is: Social Issues

You advocate a constitutional amendment offering blanket constitutional protections from the moment of conception. Will you categorically state your opposition, then, to any form of embryonic stem cell research?”

It is towards the top of the page at this link:

I’m hearing a lot of people agree with Alan Keyes, but I just heard Jay Seculo, aclj.org, insisting it will help some babies, just today on his radio show.

They might not have been “ordinary” citizens. Often the reason for suicides is they can’t face embarrassment or prosecution. They may well be guilty of something bad that was about to come to light.

Wagglebee thread on Partial Birth Abortion...

Legal experts will debate the meaning of the Supreme Court's 5 – 4 decision that upholds a ban on partial-birth abortion. As an activist I am struck by one simple fact: The majority on the Court established in Gonzalez v. Carhart that abortion is no longer sacrosanct.

In language that is startling because it comes from the Court, the Justices display respect for unborn life, describes how abortion harms women and determines that abortionists shouldn’t get to decide whether their acts are criminal.

As certain folk dance around the May pole today, profound thought sprouts. Or is it weeds? Ahhh, the complexity of good versus evil. Such a difficult concept to define for some...

On Wednesday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m., Dreamcatcher will read Canadian playwright Emil Sher's play, MOURNING DOVE. Company members Clark Carmichael (Montclair), Laura Ekstrand (Union), and Harry Patrick Christian (Montclair) will perform the play. Inspired by the case of a Saskatchewan father convicted of the mercy-killing of his severely disabled daughter and echoed in the United States by the Terry Schiavo case, MOURNING DOVE asks the question whether it is more loving to let a suffering child live, or to end her life. The playwright draws no immediate conclusions, and asks the audience to grapple with the complexity of the parents' experience and their compassion for their child.

>> asks the question whether it is more loving to let a suffering child live, or to end her life.

More "loving"? What kind of a moral is that?

The question is between obedience to God and rebellion against His Commandments. Nowhere do moral teachings tell you to kill your daughter if she's handicapped. It isn't ever "loving" to murder your own child.

The sun is out, spring is truly here and all is smiles.

I have sworn off certain fruits as of late which have spoiled. No matter how appealing, they have pits containing by no great surprise arsenic and cyanide.

Happy days ahead....
