I believe he stubbed his little toe a couple of years ago (or something like that), and needs a crutch for jury sympathy.
"Geeze, according to Fox News Radio, Russert contradicted Libby."
He did contradict Libby in his direct testimony. But then the defense hit his credibility. Look, if there's an FBI report saying Russert told Libby about Plame, in my opinion game over. But, who knows what the jury will decide.
*******Russert testified he has no notes from his conversation with Libby on July 10, 2003. His recollection is based solely on his memory--which his testimony showed needs prompting
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
They told the audience on Fox this afternoon.
This is not what I heard on Hardball.
On Hardball it seems:
Fitz is SMART (and may be God)
Libby will HAVE to testify (Spikey says no ...too dangerous)
Will Cheney tesify???????!!!!!!!
No No No NO No !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great reporting, Kristinn!!! Tim the Toad needs roasting!
"This appears"...that you haven't been paying attention or know how a courtroom works.
It's the Ted Kennedy crutch defense.
The gal called Russert, "Fitzgerald's last witness and star witness who pointedly said that he had never heard of Plame before the Libby call." She also authored a book on Woodward & Bernstein if this helps describe her.
Night and day from your take and I personally take yours.
"My gosh, if you have a chance to see Sissy Matthews and David Shuster"
But those two and Russert are all part of the same team. These guys had better be careful, they're playing a very dangerous game here.
Curiouser, and curiouser.
Fox is HORRIBLE...as horrible as the rest of not WORSE!!
Thanks for providing this great report.
Tater Head .... sounds like he got spanked today!
I love it when pompous blow hards get publicly humiliated.
Better put some gravy on that big Russ!
Do you happen to have a link to that blog? I am curious about Eckenrode too. I can't figure out what he was doing at Meet the Press. And it seems he also took some notes during a Libby interview that differed from Bond who testified earlier. It figures they would be fawning over him here with statements like:
Isikoff and Corn call Jack a "dogged investigator who reminded some of the Tommy Lee Jones character in The Fugitive.
Jack Eckenrode believed that both Rove and Libby were being dishonest. He pushed the issue. Attorney General John Ashcroft was forced to recuse himself...
Great job. I, like you, don't believe anything the msm says. I look forward to thismostimportantmemberofthemedia being taken apart.
Fregards,
I was sitting perpendicular to the jury so I couldn't read their expressions well. They do take plenty of notes. I can see them scribbling away.
BRAVO...thank you very much for going to the trial..and posting your take on it.
You have a good memory..LOL
Much better than Russert...your account is very close to the one from the blogger.
Russert broke an ankle,, (carrying water for the dems, no doubt)
