AMBER ALERT 02/08/07 PITTSBURGH P.D., ALLEGHENY CO., AYINDE BRADFORD, BLK MALE 4 YRS OLD, BLK SHORT HAIR BRN EYES 3 ½ FT 45 LBS., WEARING LS ORANGE SHIRT W/BLK LETTERS, BLK PANTS W/WHI STRIPE, RED COAT W/BLK STRIPE, BLU SNEAKERS, LAST SEEN IN DK 4 DR SDN, PARTIAL PA REG. DN096
The Pennsylvania State Police has issued an Amber Child Abduction Alert for the Pittsburgh Police Department, Allegheny County.
Pittsburgh Police are searching for Ayinde BRADFORD, 4 year old black male, 3 ½ feet tall approximately 45 pounds, black short hair, brown eyes, wearing a long sleeve orange shirt with black letters, red coat with black stripe, black pants with white stripe, blue sneakers. The child was forcibly taken 9:46 a.m. this morning from the Children’s Museum, 1 Children’s Way, Pittsburgh, PA, by Kunta BRADFORD, 29 year old black male, 5’5” 180 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, goatee, tattoo of Chinese symbol on left bicep and the name “Malik”, tattoo on the right bicep of African symbol, wearing ¾ length black wool coat. Kunta BRADFORD fled the scene, heading south with the child, in the passenger seat of a dark colored 4 door sedan, partial PA registration of DN096, operated by an unidentified black female driver. BRADFORD may also be in possession of a dark green 1997 Toyota Camry, PA registration GMR7704.
Anyone with information about the abduction should immediately contact the police by calling 911.

Affected Counties: Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Armstrong, Westmoreland, Washington, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Clarion, Jefferson, Indiana, Cambria, Somerset, Fayette, Greene

I won't hold my breath waiting for this non white, non female, non blonde, non teenage child to be highlighted on Greta.
I hope and pray that the child is found unharmed.
Heading home in about 45 minutes. North on 28 but I'll keep my eyes open anyway.

Sounds like it, but that's not a safe place either. God bless the child.
Could be, but even so it meets the criteria of imminent threat of death or serious injury. Otherwise it would not have been activated by PSP.
I saw this at lunch before they actually listed the alert. It sounds like the dad was abusive. There is a protection from abuse order, but they didn't know if it was for the mom or child. The security at the museum where this boy went to head start was aware there was a possible threat and had taken precautions. (how it was reported at lunch) But apparently the dad attacked the grandma as soon as she had parked and gotten the boy out of the car and was gone.
Prayers they find this boy unharmed.

HE AMBER ALERT ISSUED ON THIS DATE FOR AYINDE BRADFORD ON BEHALF OF PITTSBURGH PD HAS BEEN CANCELLED. THE CHILD HAS BEEN SAFELY RESCUED.

I saw that on the 11 o'clock news last night and actually had tears well up in my eyes. Finally a happy ending!
