Actually, the article is from the 95th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. But I just wanted to note that today is the 97th birthday of the Boy Scouts of America.

How many active Scouts or Scouters do we have here?

How many former Scouts or Scouters (quite a few, I bet)?

As the Girl Scouts drift further and further towards politically correctness and amorality, the BSA continues to hold true to its founding ideals, despite the torrent of contempt and hatred spewed upon it from the American Left.
God bless Lord Robert Baden-Powell and William D. Boyce.

Happy Birthday BSA!!!

Some of my happiest moments of childhood involved Boy Scouts. The BSA helped me become the person I am today. It helped teach me leadership, respect, honor, environmental conservation, patriotism and so many other things.

I still proudly boast that I am an Eagle Scout on my resume some 15 years after earning it.

My son, 18, is an Eagle Scout. I just retired as Scoutmaster after 5 years. We graduated 15 Eagle Scouts, all hardworking young men, in a year and a half.

In cub scouts, I was part of Pack 1, Cashmere, WA, 98815.

First Boy Scout troop west of the Mississippi, as I understand it. In that little town.... who'da thunk?

Does being in the girl scouts count? I was from age 9 until age 14.

Happy birthday Boy Scouts of America!

Are there any other girls' organizations that hold to a better standard?

Thanks, RonF, for the reminder.

Happy birthday, BSA! My wishes for many, many more!

Scouting was a significant positive influence in my youth.

Serving as an adult leader was an honor and also great fun.

Participating in merit badge pow-wows is a blast.
