I thought all the Hispanics just want Aztlan back. Don't fall victim to the campaign of soft bigotry that is making this sovereignty issue an ethnicity issue. I've more in common with a "pop" drinking (it's coke), "drywall" hanging (it's sheetrock) "beans-in-their-chili" (if it has beans it's not chili) yankee than I do an illegal alien.

"drywall" hanging (it's sheetrock)"
Only if it's made by USG, sheetrock is their registered trade name.
Drywall is the correct designation!

Actually, chili doesn't have beans. But, if I understand your post, you have hinted at agreement with the Aztlan crowd? I guess while we're at it we should all just go back to Europe and let the buffalo roam and the antelope play?
If Mexico treated ALL their people right, there wouldn't be any issue. I'm going to find a link to something and pm you, 'kay? Mi amiga.

"OOPS maybe you might have been hitting the old gin and tonic as apparently you misunderstood what she really meant."
It's vodka-tonic, thank you very much. But way before that, I was reading way, way too fast.
Glad you're on your toes, though, and there to catch me!

UMH......Vodka Tonic, little early in the morning for me but sounds good for tonight.
Learned to drink Gin and Tonics in South America when I found out that American Whiskey (Bourbon) was not available for Purchase.
Excellent Dewars, Johnnie Walker, Bushmill, Cutty, Chivas, J&B, Grants, Ushers, Black Label, Black and White, Scotch was every where but does not fit my taste.
It was also inexpensive going from 5 to 12 dollars a liter.
A Note on Spelling. For reasons that have yet to be adequately explained, American and Irish distillers tend to spell the word whiskey with an "e" while their Scotch, Canadian, Japanese and New Zealand peers spell whisky without it.
Just having a little fun this morning and thanks for your civil reply.

I have heard that eating 9 golden raisins a day that have been soaked in gin will relieve you of arthritis.

LOL
My good friend in Cartagena say he doesn't soak the raisins he just drinks the gin with tonic and cuts out the middle man.
After a few drinks out on the balcony over looking the beach he no longer feels his arthritis.

But, if I understand your post, you have hinted at agreement with the Aztlan crowd? Ummm, no.
Anytime I see the phrase "all Hispanics", I post something to assert that "all Hispanics" never believe anything as a monolith. To illustrate my point, I'm saying I have more in common with someone who is an American but culturally unlike me (I'm a Texan)than I do with someone who is ethnically like me.

What is that we're eatin' then that has beans in it if it ain't chili??? Chili-beans. Growing up poor, when there was leftover chili, my mom put beans in it to extend it to the whole family (but then, it was called and everyone knew it to be...Chili-beans made from leftover Chili). The official chili-cookoff at Terlingua, Texas, disqualifies any "Chili" that contains beans.
