Well, they certainly have the talking points down.

he's "an incredible orator,"

if he does half the things he talks about doing, it will be a wonderful thing."

We feel Obama's more in touch with what the true American is really about

I also feel Obama is more patient, and that he really listens to what people say.

Obama seems sincere about wanting to unite the country

the Republican Party's been hijacked by the Religious Right

It kind of scares me when I look at old pictures of Nixon and there's Cheney sitting right next to him…almost incestuous

I don't know who this Karl Rove guy is - he's not elected to anything

Sound like Obama Republicans to me.

Honestly, progressives should be able to do better than this.

All I've seen out of Obama so far is the same tired old retread class warfare mantra. Any real republicans would see through it.

"Reagan democrats" were real, "Obama republicans" are a figment of this writer's imagination. This is the biggest pile of crap I've read in a long time.

You will read endless puff pieces on Obama from now until 2008 election day. The only hope is that you won't have to hear them after that day.

What a crock.....

Note the word "feel". No thinking here. So far endless platitudes don't encourage thinking, only feeling.

Stross, who until recently was an independent businessman (he's about to start a management job with a company in the energy field), notes that he and Wann currently have just catastrophic coverage, which costs $400 a month. That means that none of the maternity costs from the recent birth of their son, James, was covered.

"So we're looking at a bill of $12,000," he says.

=====

I spent over 20K to adopt a child, I didn't whine that someone else should pay the bill. Why should my taxes pay for your delivery?

I, for one, would prefer they change their registration and make it official.

Foremost, they've heard him speak a number of times and think he's "an incredible orator," Stross says.

Incredible orator? lol....will he "build great roads" as well?

I waiting for the OBAMA souffle to deflate. People can only project this much hype on an elegant but empty suit.

LOL, hilarious, another "they think we are stupid" faux article.

I swear I have read it before with different names inserted as the "Republicans".

I will bookmark to compare to the next 100 we will see before 08.

This article is the biggest load of doo-doo. These so-called conservative Republicans didn't bother to look at Obama the "Progressive Senator"'s Socialist voting record. Dole is a moderate, not a conservative. "Hijacked by the Religious Right". Yeah. Uh huh. All the cliche's are there. And on and on.

By the way, you forgot the barf alert.

"And even though there are more women in Congress than ever before, the couple believe the country is still run by an "old boys club" that's been around forever and gets its marching orders from big-money corporate interests."

Well, these two RINOs got that part right, at least. There's no way in h-e-double-toothpicks that either a "man of color" or a "woman" (and that's in quotes due to who we're dealing with here) will ever be President until we run out of rich, white guys. :)

"an incredible orator,"

Dear God in Heaven. We cannot underestimate this. I have heard from many people that they want to vote for Obama because he is an awesome speaker. I have tried to get them back on issues, but man it is hard. People are so shallow when picking a President sometimes.

She not only is a lifelong Republican, but an anti-big government conservative Republican....

But supports that oily socialist scumbag Obama?? 'Heads' she's a liar, 'tails' she's an idiot.
It HAS TO BE one or the other.
