LONDON Anyone with an Internet connection can watch videos of bombings and sniper attacks against U.S. forces shot and edited by Islamic militants and broadcast on YouTube, the world's largest video-sharing Web site.
With the global spread of high-speed Internet connections and the relative anonymity afforded by the world's biggest and busiest sites, extremists have found a new theater to display violence and anti-American propaganda.

Watching Americans be killed is hard enough. But some of the comments Youtubers have made will stun you.

A good thing, IMHO.
We Americans need to wake up. Our news here is so censored compared to many parts of the world that we literally do not 'get' why parts of the world feel the way they do. I wish people *HAD* to watch EVERY detonation of an IED and ALL of the concomitant horror before they could go on to American Idol. The world is a very violent place and the sooner that REAL violence is inescapable on every screen the sooner we will adapt to the reality of struggle against Jihad.

No surprises here. YouTube routinely censors any conservative videos, such as those hysterically funny Zucker campaign ads for the Republicans.

They do seem to have a very high concentration of anti-American punks; of course, the gasbuddy.com political forums are the same way.

The youtubers' comments actually are the only Internet body that makes the folks from DU appear to be intelligent.

I agree, but when someone replies "LOL" to U.S. soldiers being killed by sniper fire, you wish you could something "tangible". Some of the DU'ers I've read would probably send the clips to the next of kin if they could identify the individual soldier being killed.

Here's hoping someone's keeping track of their IP addresses. This could be a valuable source of intelligence if they're sloppy about covering their tracks.

Personally I would like to see the comments section on YouTube disabled.

Isn't Youtube the same site where those three young "American" expats are displaying their movie about the "fake" 911 terrorist attack?

I'm with you all the way. The days of "editors" deciding what Americans get to view, and not to view, is coming to an end. With that end, comes the decline of their power to shape what our society thinks.
Let the atrocities of the Islamofascists come into every American home, preferably before Election Day.
To: stm
The person who posts the video has the option to disallow comments. I'm surprised more people don't use that option.

A good thing, IMHO.
We Americans need to wake up. Our news here is so censored compared to many parts of the world... I agree completely.
Just remember, the most incendiary (and anger-inducing) images from 911 were not allowed to be seen by the American public as it happened, and to this day only a minuscule percentage of the American public has seen any of them.
If a rational explanation for this officially imposed excess of cultural squeamishness is ever offered, I would be truly intrigued in learning about the rationale; and, in retrospect, the wisdom of it. And I'm a squeamish person.
