"I like Mitt, and think he would make a great President, but my heart is in the Gingrich camp. "

Gingrich said he thought free speech needed to be curtailed in the WOT and basically that people's online activity should be tracked.

He is also in favor of amnesty.

You sure this is the conservative guy you were thinking about?

He did make mention of border security but not as much as I would have liked.

"I do not believe Washington can be transformed by someone who has never tried doing such a thing before, in any setting, by someone who has never even managed a corner store, let alone the largest enterprise in the world."

I gotta believe he's talking about every 'Rat nominee out there, except maybe Edwards, I guess the ambulance chaser had an office somewhere. I liked his speech, particularly this line. Well said, Mitt, keep it up.

If someone is communicating with alqaeda, yes, I want to know about it. We are at war sir, and what we are doing on the homefront to prevent another alqaeda, or shia sponsored attack is precious little compared to what was done during past wars involving our nation.

Are you also against our detention of enemy combatants picked up on the battlefield, and detained in Guantanamo?

I wonder how many voters will ever hear about the priesthood, baptism of the dead, undergarments, the temple rites? This might be an interesting election... especially if the media is going to do honest reporting.

If it's about a presidential candidate and his qualifications for office, then those things don't need to be brought up at all. Romney's not running for "pastor in chief".

And the men of the church, including the prophet, who authenticated the letters... why weren't they able to see the truth?

Why wasn't Jesus able to see that Judas would betray him? ...or was he?

So it makes sense to prohibit free speech, allow open surveillance of everyone in America, yet not bother closing our porous borders?

That's essentially what Gingrich is proposing.

If you want to compare this to previous wars such as WWII, then let's do like we did then and go all out to win over there where the fight is, and not shut down important parts of our society just because we aren't willing to get the job done.

No mention of illegal immigration. The elephant in the room continues to be ignored.

Ahem: "I believe that homeland security begins with securing our borders."

I noticed you didn't answer the question. I will ask again, one more time. Are you also against our detention of enemy combatants picked up on the battlefield, and detained in Guantanamo?

It's apparent, by your comments, that you think Newt Gingrich is not conservative enough for you. He's with us on 9 out of every 10 issues, and has a lifetime American Conservative Union rating of 90, but that's not a high enough score for you to consider Newt a conservative. What kind of ACU score must a candidate have to be a true conservative, in your estimation?

Yes, he probably does, and I'm fine with that. I believe that we need a heated, GOP primary, a no-holds-barred, fight (as gentlemen of course) with an airing of all the divisive issues. However, when the dust settles, we need to unify under the banner of the GOP standard-bearers, and take it to the black knights of socialism. This is all about frustrating the clinton "restoration."

See, you have to be very careful with things like that.

In today's world, the question could just as easily be: "Mr. Hunter, do you believe that Jesus walked on water?", or "Mr. Christian, do you believe in the RAPTURE?"

See ya!

Everyone's religious beliefs are foolish to an outsider.

So, Mark Hoffman offers forged documents to the church, kills to cover up his attempted crime but it's the LDS church that is guilty of some crime. You don't work for CBS do you?
