This will definitely make me stop. No way I'll participate in helping that creep get access to desperate young males looking for their "big" break.
DIdn;t they have a spin off "Teen Idol", or "Child Idol" a few years back? I assume Michael would have preffered mentoring on those shows.
I'll be watching. I'm a huge Michael Jackson fan.
was it the bubble gum music or the buggering that won you over?
The creator of American Idol is Simon COWELL, not Fuller. I do hope that the writer is also mistaken about Michael Jackson coming on the show. Why should anyone help him 'come back' from the obscurity he so richly deserves?
I think it's probably good to be bigger than he is. :)
His early musical work was very good, up until around the mid-1990s.
I might end up eating my words, but I don't believe anyone associated with Idol is this stupid. Of course, I probably would have said the same thing about the OJ book so...
I believe Fuller was the original Idol creator and Cowell simply did an American spinoff of it.
Either way, I don't think they should involve Michael Jackson. I think Idol is successful and doesn't need a guy like him to boost the ratings. If it were 1985, I'd say go for it, but Michael is a creep now. I know he was found innocent of all molestation charges, but he still admitted to sleeping with other people's children in his bed. There is something not right about a man that would sleep with kids (that aren't his) in his bed.
It's good way to tank your ratings. I'll, certainly, stop watching!

Simon Fuller created American Idol. Simon is a popular name amongst those brits!

whole lotta mentoring going on
Frankly, though, it's been a year....I'm surprised he has any face left.
He was so normal back then. (Hee hee... well, comparatively speaking.)
Oh no! I love that show, but if they pander to a child molester, or attempt to use him as a musical mentor to these contestants, there is no way I will ever watch it again.
No, it is Simon Fuller. Check out the credits when the show ends tonight.
LOL!
