Ok folks....its time we take back this party.
comma's are your friend.
Marcus Tullius Cicero
uh.... let's not.... but you can pretend we did.
Phil English, R-Erie, PA sits in the seat formerly occupied by Tom Ridge.
Talk about a drop off in quality?
Tread lightly my friend...I'm not in the mood after watching some in our party give our enemies a propaganda victory.
Gee not Shays? I'm surprised. Did any Dems vote in favor of the troops?
Republican is already the minority so the effort ought to go toward convincing some Democrats not to engage in this.
You with them?
fyi & fwiw
Most of them in that gaggle of 17 are members of the
RMSP

They must be proud cutting the legs out from under our troops in time of war!
He's right. Hard to discern from your list what the names of these morons are.
What an excellent quote, Mewz. Excellent because it's true. Thanks for posting it.
As for convincing a Democrat to buck their party.....never going to happen.

I don't recognize any of the names at first glance, but we don't have any R Reps around here.

If what I just wrote made you sad or angry,
it was probably just a joke.
Let me fix it for you...give me a minute.
Every Republican City Committee in American should pass a resolution condemning these poltroons. Grind their asses into the ground.
Two did - Marshall from Georgia and Taylor (don't know where he's from).
At least we know who the enemy is.
Traitors.. All of them!
Thanks finn..now maybe some will stop nit picking over commas.
Punks.
It was past time to call a spade a spade. Washington DC reeks with traitors, and most belong to the party of the RAT.
"The government consists of a gang of men exactly like you and me. They have, taking one with another, no special talent for the business of government; they have only a talent for getting and holding office. Their principal device to that end is to search out groups who pant and pine for something they can't get and to promise to give it to them. Nine times out of ten that promise is worth nothing. The tenth time is made good by looting A to satisfy B. In other words, government is a broker in pillage, and every election is sort of an advance auction sale of stolen goods."[H. L. Mencken]
Mr. Keller from Orlando just lost at least my vote. I will be looking at who else is in the primary and probably vote for the Dem next time in the general if he's still running. If not the Dem, I'll leave it blank.
This is how we lost the House....conservatives who start acting like liberals. All the Dems have to do is run a pro-life moderate Dem next time and they pick up another seat.
Idiots.
Any Congressman who voted for something this wrong headed has crap for brains and chicken liver for a heart. How incredibly stupid to criticize a military operation just as it starts, and as it is showing early SUCCESS.
I just called Jones Washington`s office and told the poor guy that answered the phone just what I thought of his boss. The aid sounded like a whipped dog!
Quite a handy list for some quick emails.
Be polite.
Ron Paul - YEA (with the DEMS)
This is the 2008 Candidate of a number of NO RINO Freepers.
Remember that when you see them sliming other presidential candidates.
Ron Paul proves his worthlessness once more. At least he's consistent. These idiots need to be defeated in the primary. Disgusting.
Two. One from Ga. and one from Ms.
Your welcome.
12 was the number reported the other day. NOW it's SEVENTEEN Republican wimps? I am truly ashamed that one of them...Howard Coble...is from my state. Of course Mel Watt, Dem. and current president of the black caucus is too. That and having John Edwards, Dem. Gov. Mike Easley (aka Weasley) and Mike Nifong also from NC gives me a severe case of embarrassment.
think of the stupidity of these politicians and their constituents. They will go home and brag they took the wonderful step of criticizing the president for doing something in a war, while they in fact didn't do a damn thing. They just voted to complain.
hy waste energy over a meaningless vote -- do you really think that anyone would believe the bob inglis or walter jones do not support the us military.... if the measure had teeth, the outcome would have been different.
so you can spin you wheels -- i think the rest of us should just move along.
What is their objection to building up and swiftly wrapping this up? How many of these idiots voted for or supported the Iraq war before they were against it? Cowards!
"...Ramstad is a member of The Republican Main Street Partnership. He is pro-choice, supports stem cell research and is opposed to gay marriage.[He is considered to be the most moderate Republican member of the Minnesota delegation in the 109th Congress, scoring 79% conservative by a conservative group[3] and 20% progressive by a liberal group. Minnesota Congressional Districts shows the scores for the entire delegation.
"Ramstad is an admitted recovering alcoholic since 1981. Ramstad's sister, Sheryl Ramstad-Hvass, is currently a Tax Court Judge in Minnesota.
I can't ever remember anyone referring to his "wife," so he may have never married or is divorced. If anyone knows please post.
Punishment is already on the way. This is national suicide and got a bad feeling it will be coming right along unless a majority of the electorate wakes up. Forget the representatives, they are merely the voice of the voters, who spoke last November. Talking in their sleep, but it counts.
They just voted to give aid and comfort to the enemy.
