Talovic in his childhood days was aggressive boy, in Bosnia he had several episodes of violence, once he held a knife over girls head, second time he threw rocks a the girl.

And FBI told that there isn't terror link...

- using sharp objects while meeting acquaintances
- throwing rocks at women
- ending life in gun down while killing several people
- father said that maybe someone instructed him to do so

I was abroad when this happened, and by the lack of coverage, after the initial announcement that 5 people were shot and killed in a shopping mall, I knew that the perpetrator had to be a Muslim and that he was doing it for the usual Muslim reasons. When I got back to the US, I found that the whole "incident" had disappeared, except from FR.

I was thinking about all this last night, and I think the reason the authorities cover up for Muslims is partly based on PC, but much more on the hope that people will not start putting two and two together and panicking. We have had a number of incidents in which Americans have been killed by random, lone-wolf Islamic terrorists, and AQ also recently called for Muslims to start acting independently in the US to just kill as many of us as they can. Yet the authorities blandly gloss it over.

This is because there is really no way to protect ourselves from this, short of deporting all foreign-born Muslims and prohibiting exercise of the "religion" altogether for native-born Muslims. We can't close down the malls, airports or public sidewalks (all places where attacks have occurred); there is no way to institute security measures without making access so burdensome that it becomes virtually impossible. Our economy is a consumer economy, and if people stop going out in public and shopping, it will be disastrous. So I think at the moment, the authorities have decided that there's sort of an acceptable kill-level that we will tolerate, particularly if it is hushed up almost immediately and most people never even realize that yet another "incident" has occurred.

I listened to and watched the video the guy took in the mall. I watched some of the other ones and you are right about the guy with the stool. He and the off duty officer are heros. Especially the off duty officer who could have been walking in to a situtaion where there was numerous shooters. With only 6 rounds while knowing just around the corners was his pregnant wife.

If not for these men the terrorist moslem would have had much more than 6 minutes to kill.

I don't buy this "I think someone told him..." crap. If he only went to the mosque, they know GOOD AND WELL where he got his "ideas".

I agree with his Father. It goes against nature and reality for a young person, rescued from the hell of a muslim country just to go out and slaughter innocent people who provided the paradise in which he recently dwelt.

Where does he go to Mosque?

The mosque he went to is a block away from the Trolley Square mall, and is one of only two mosques that show up when you go to google maps and search for mosque "Salt Lake City"

You may want to check that. Sulejman Talovic attended the Al Noor Mosque while the imam (Shuaib-ud Din) 'preached' at the Khadeeja Mosque in West Valley City. Thus far, I have not seen any evidence that Sulejman attended the Khadeeja Mosque

The two mosques are only about 4 miles apart. Given the small size of the Muslim community in SLC, it would not be unlikely that imams fom one would guest-speak at the other

The imam's mosque, "Islamic Society of Greater Salt Lake" is the one that's a block away from Trolley Square. It is the same mosque that the shooter attended

I read an article here today, either by Mark Steyn or Christopher Hitchens, that comments that in retrospect the Serbian activities are coming to make a little more sense to us now.

Articles by both these writers were posted here today, and I don't remember which one made the comment; but both articles are worth reading, if you can find them.
